It was finally lunch time! Izzy could start bothering Millie with questions instead of me, I mean honestly, I know she's my best friend, but I don't know about whatever it is she keeps rambling on about!

I walked to my table and put my tray down, slipping into the chair. Millie smiled up at me. and made a face at my food.

"I can't believe they actually serve this crap," she spoke, "I mean, you'd think somebody would have died from it already!"

I giggled. Millie Daie was one of my best friend, including Izzy and Alice. Her wavy dark brown hair had dirty blond highlights in it and always looked effortlessly beautiful. Her green brown eyes were now dissecting every aspect of my horrible mystery meat 'special' from the lunch line, and her freckles shifted as she wrinkled her nose.

"Millie!" a high pitched squeal shattered my ear drums and Millie winced. We turned and saw Izzy heading towards us, closing the distance quickly. Millie glanced at me, eyes wide with terror, and I stifled a laugh.

"Omigod, Millie, is it true? I heard something but I need to hear it from you to know if it was true and If it is then OMIGOD, that bastard! But if it's not, then I should probably go apologize because I just called him a bad word. But anyway, you need to tell me now or I swear I will hunt you down and force the truth out of you. But I seriously need to know because it involved you and since you're my best friend I have to do everything I can and if I don't then I'm a bad friend and-"

She stared at me, blue eyes wide as she wove her fingers through her curly blond hair. I slowly removed my hand from her mouth, making sure she was quiet, and Millie shot me a grateful look.

"Izzy, were going over to Liv's house after school, and then we'll talk, alright?" Millie glanced at me to make sure it was alright that they came over. I rolled my eyes, they would anyway, and it's not like my parents would care. They never did.

Izzy nodded slowly and her eyes brightened as she saw something behind Millie that made her smile. Millie turned around and we searched for whatever made Izzy beam.

"Alice!" I shrieked. Alice smiled at us. She was the third of my equal best friends. Alice was the absolute sweetest human being alive. Everyone loved her, and honestly, who could blame them?

Alice was stunning, with wavy auburn hair and blue-green eyes and a charming smile. She was adorable, sweet, and smart. And an accidental heart breaker. Everywhere she went, guys fell head over heels for her, but she wasn't interested. She tried to tell them nicely, honestly she did.. But oh well.

Alice sat down next to Millie and smiled at us all, ignoring the longing looks from the boys who she had passed.

"Hi loves! Do we have any plans today?" she asked us, with her usual greeting. Izzy beamed and nodded leaning closer.

"We're going to Olivia's house so Millie can spill the truth! Then we're going shopping!" Izzy eyed us all as if looking fo an objection. We all giggled and Izzy sat back triumphant.

"Good, I need new clothes." Millie said. Izzy raised an eyebrow and glanced at me. I rolled my eyes. We had know each other since we where two, we could practically read each others minds. Right now, she thought Millie wanted clothes to impress someone.

I looked at her with a 'don't-get-your-hopes-up expression that anyone else would have missed. She rolled her eyes and responded with a glare that obviously said that it wasn't hopes, it was reality.

Alice giggled as she watched us. We could have silent conversations for hours, and know exactly what we where saying. Millie sighed, and pouted at us.

"It's not fair when you two do that. You know we can't understand you!" Millie crossed her arms and glared at us. I glanced at Izzy and we both cracked up, laughing hysterically, ignoring the crazy looks we got from the other kids.
