ater that day, I have had a total of 3 breakdowns. I couldn't contain it, I felt something I have never felt before in that kiss and it sucks because she didn't feel what I did. Know I know what it feels like to not be loved back. I was a wreck, my makeup was smeared, my hair a mess and I was currently buried under all of my blankets with a box of tissues.
" Del?" Jamie appeared in his vialobos volunteer t shirt and some shorts with sandals. " come on baby girl let's get you up" he spoke getting me out of bed and into the shower. I'm pretty sure he heard the sobs that came from behind the curtain, I got dressed when I got out and then he did my hair with light make up. Soon enough we were walking towards the gate, that led us to the dogs. Jamie stopped for a second causing me to stop, he then pulled me into a hug. " Everything will be okay. I promise. You should have read the texts from Mariah after you replied to hers. She sounded really tore up. And she was freaking out on me and calling every 20 minutes after school to see if you were okay." I gave him a little smile and then headed through the open gate.
I made my way over to one of the puppies, I believe his name was creature. I quickly took him for a walk, cleaned out his cage and gave him fresh food and water. I was going tk move on to Brandi and see how she was doing when my name got called. " Hey Del? Can you go grab me a bag of rawhides from the supply closet?" Tonia asked. I gave her a thumbs up and then walked inside of the closet.
As soon as I got inside someone walked in behind me and closed the door. I turned around but before I could see who it was, the light shut off and a familiar pair of lips pressed roughly against mine. I tried to fight the thoughts that ran through my head, but when Mariah kissed me they all dissappeared. I was soon pressed against the wall as she trailed kisses down my neck, she found my sweet spot and quickly got to work. Before I let out a moan and pushed her away and turned the light on.
" Just friends huh?" I asked. Crossing my arms. She bit her lip before looking me in the eyes. " look this is going to sound really bad, but I can't decide who I want" I looked at her with my eyebrows raised. " I can't decide between you or Marcel, and I dunno, it's just, I feel something with the both of you alright? And he asked me on a date that I kind of said yes to." She took a breath after she was finished and started to look at my face, searching for any type of answer.
I smirked and shook my head. " Mariah. I don't want to be the side bitch." Mariah pinched the bridge of her nose and then closed her eyes. " It's just dinner. Not having sex." "That's what it usually leads to. And I don't want to get hurt." I told her truethfully. " The I'll prove I won't hurt you" Mariah claimed looking at me with a smile. " You got one chance" " That's all I need"
