6 Years With You.

Chapter 1

It all started in kindergarten .  We were little love birds .    You know how 6 year olds  can't fall actually in  love? Well , Shawn and I did .   Our parents were the best of friends ! We had playdates and sleepovers, picnics, and everything , and we went to everything together . We colored together in every subject.  Man , kindergarten was the best time of our lives . We were young, I know, but at that age? I knew I has  in love with Shawn . I always have been , always will be.


- Eleventh Grade- 
*Emily's POV* 
~Valentine's Day week at school~

"Hey Emily!" Shawn yelled  from the Valentine's Day decorated hallway at school . "Hey Shawn, are you aloud to come over after finals?" I questioned .  Shawn exclaimed, "I hope! I really wanna hang out because my little sister's getting on my nerves, ahah."  Shawn's little sister , oh my lord . She's so sweet and adorable.. yet so annoying!   I mean I know how little kids are . We were all young and annoying .. duh . aha .  
We began chatting  little a little more , then the bell rang and we went in biology and took our seats. Would anyone like to share their answer for number thirty-five?" Mrs. Smith questioned the class .  Everyone got out their books and notes and things like that . I raised my hand quickly when I saw my answer .  She points at me . "Number thirty-five is A, negative twenty four is less than eighty-six squared." , "'Correct." she says .  "Good job Em!" Shawn exclaimed . "It's just a  little math problem, haha." I said . "But you're smart, you need to be proud of that." Shawn said peacefully.   "Awhh ,   thanks Shawn." I thanked .   Forty-five minutes have passed and the bell rang for lunch . Shawn waited for me, as usual , and we went to lunch . We got our trays and he got me some some ice cream . "Awhh. You didn't need to,  Shawn . Haha. I had fifty cents." He's so sweet. Oh my goshh . "It's alright." Shawn said with a smile, "it's sweet, just like you."  I blushed  . "Awwwwwwhhh . Did someone blushhhhhh?" adding the extra "shhh-ing" sound . " Maybe.." I added with a giggle . 
We ate lunch then took our trays up and sat down till they called our tables and went our with our days. The cafeteria was decorated with hearts and pink and red and strings and everything . Look , I know high school is supposed to act like mini adults and stuff, but the staff wanted us to have fun . 

All throughout the rest of the school day , we emailed each other and snapchatted and things like that.  At the end of the day , I was walking towards my car and and Shawn runs our in front of a car to just get by me.. He was hiding something behind his back . "What's that?" I ask . I thought it was some report card , because he always shows off his straight A's to me . Not this time . He pulled a big bouquet of roses . Preferably white ones .  They were so beautiful . "Shawn ! Oh my gosh! These are beautiful. Thank you so much ." I give him a hug and a slight kiss on the cheek . "Anytime," he said with a smile," Emily....?"    
Yes?

Oh my God.. is he like proposing or something? 

He can't . we're only in the high school .

He's my bestfriend . We did not agree to take this any further .

I love him so much though , but he doesn't know that..

"Yes, Shawn?" I reply/ask nervously . 

"Look , I know we agreed to not take anything a step farther since kindergarten . But I love you.  I wanna be more than bestfriends . I love you so much . There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you .  I.. I .. I scroll through facebook and instagram and see all of these 'relationship goals' pictures, and imagine us , me and you.   Emily..  I'm just gonna say it .. I'm in love with you. I'm in love with your personality and your attitude and just everything . You're so perfect. From you're head to your toes . " he said quietly and slowly .

Oh my god.. the boys of my dreams just said this?
Did someone like slip drugs into my sprite ?

What am I on ? Did he just say that ?  
EMILY!!!  GET IT TOGETHER . CALM YA SELF . NOW .

              "Shawn...  oh my God... Do you know how long I've been wanting to hear that?  Do you know how long I've wanted to say that too? I can't believe this . I love you so much ,too . I never knew you had the same feelings ." I replied .  I put the flowers on my seat and hugged him tightly , he hugged me back tightly .  He began to push me away. I said "What's wrong..?" and he says nothing.  he began to speak and he just looked down at my lips . I said " Shawn..? What's wrong?? " and just places his hands  behind my head and inches closer to me .  He finally places his lips against mine and asked "Be my girlfriend . Okay?
