Chapter 1O:Memory or Dream?

Drew's P.O.V

We walked about a mile from the hotel until we came to a broken down two story house. It was old with age, we went in inside and inside the house was nothing. The house was totally empty, when we walked in, we were met with a bare wooden floor. We all stood shoulder to shoulder, looking around, then Cole pulled out his mini lab and pressed the red button.

It starts shaking in his hand, he throws it onto the floor. It begins to grow until it's in its full size, the space with the chairs and the refrigerator even grows back to normal size. We go over to the couch and sit down, Drake says," A gem that's forest green, what do you think that means?" I'm about to tell them my theory, when I'm pulled into one of my dreams.

Dream: I'm in a jewelry store, looking down at the necklaces and bracelets, I look to my left side and see that I'm not alone, the girl from my bedroom dream is here too, except she isn't dead. I still can't see her face clearly, but I can see that she has straight black hair and that she's wearing black skinny jeans and a red t-shirt. She points to something inside the case and says," hey, look Drew, it's an emerald" I move closer to her side and look at what she's looking at. It's a round green gem, I look back at her and ask," what kind of gem is it, do you know?" she looks at me and smiles, her face may be unclear but her smile is so dazzling," yeah, it's an emerald".

My body jolts like it's been shocked. I can feel the guys stares on me, expecting my answer, but I can't answer them because I don't know whether or not it was a dream or a memory. After my dream we go back to the motel and go inside our room, I sit down on the couch in a daze thinking,At least I know the answer to the riddle now, suddenly I don't feel so good.
