The Kissing Booth - Reekles

Checking out the interview of my favorite writer, Reekles, hearing her voice, listening what she shared with fans, I admitted that I loved her talent. Is it early to say something like that for a sixteenth year old girl?, she still enjoyed her teenager. The answers should come from her fans who read her stories The Kissing booth. I read some comments of her fans, they stated that she was a very talented writer. I don’t like to magnify anything so extravagant, all what I could say now is Reekles is a very potential writer in future. Is it possible to come true? That depends upon Reekles who makes decision. For those who have not read TKB and HOH, what I mentioned above may not make sense. Read them right away you guys!!!

After reading the final chapter of The Kissing Booth, I could not stop thinking about that ending. I drop Reekles a comment on her Facebook page

“Reekles,the Kissing Booth story is amazing, I have casually downloaded it to read as it is voted crazily, but when I read the first chapter, I could not wait to see till the end as I am hooked. I am still obsessed by it ending, I could hardly believe in long-distanced relationship; however, the characters in your story should deserve a happy ending after so many stuffs. It can prove the fact that true love can make people become better and better. Is it the way you encourage the youth nowaday to be passionately, honestly, loyally, patiently, responsibly in love?”

You know, The Kissing Booth is not the first Romance Book I read in Wattpad. I have read some before but admittedly saying this story obsessed me. I was dying to wait for a sequel; however, some of her fans liked that ending and so does Reekles, others kept asking/waiting for TKB 2. Why not? Then I try to drop her another message, let her know I love her characters and await for a happy ending.

“Well, one week passed, but honestly I could not stop thinking about the ending. I used to think that you are in college, arent you? but then I realize you now enjoy teenager. That is why your story is all about teen love story, but I loved it. Congrat on your good GCSE result!. Do you think that Noah character makes your story amazing since he has been changed in a positive way thank to the love for Elle. Definitely! I know there have so many fans awaiting for a sequel that tells them more about all characters in future, especially in college and the rest of their life. Are you afraid of you still have less experience in that period and unnatural flow of sequel would ruin your success for part 1? You know, Goldie 68 has succeeded for part II (Made to shine - Shining light), and I think you will, maybe not now, several years later”.

I may not understand all the reasons why most of Reekles’s fans asked for a sequel, do they wait for that Ella and Noah will end up getting together? To me, the reason I was dying for a sequel was I much loved her characters. All of them have their own personality and all are great. The story closed by the open ending, everything could happen and be unpredictable. The way she closed that story made me, who loved her characters, worried. She describe Ella’s thinking at the airport while looking at Noah’s plane speeding up. I would say Ella had vague vision on what will happen. I am wrong? Maybe, maybe not. I also could not imagine what will happen. Would that long distance relationship work out? How many of you have been in that relationship and ended up together? To be end up with a happy ending, what do that couples really need to do? Obviously, that relationship should be built by true love, trust and communication.

True love?

Let see Noah has fallen for Ella, which made him changed his attitudes. That’s what even Lee could not imagine. Maybe he met the right girl who he practically knew whole his life, that is best friend’s his little brother, Lee. All what he had done for her to protect her, to look out for her, to not let her get hurted, this was not only because he just thought about Ella as his little sister. What if there was no carnival and the kissing booth of Lee&Ella, without that firework/spinning/melten first kiss to Ella, would Ella or Noah realized they were madly in love with each other? How amazingly Reekles can create such a perfect flow of story like this.
