                                                                                      Seven years later
Things weren't much different.  except for my mom actually letting me go to school and certain

events that were proper for a young teen.  I only had a handful of friends that really got me.  five if I'm

going to be exact.  but none of them could relate to having a controlling mother like mine.  I don't

think anyone really could.  by now I could speak three languages and play almost every instrument

henry had in his dads shop.  I like his dads music shop.  it was amazing and most of all my mother

didn't care how long I spent there.  as long as I was doing something proper she didn't seem to mind.

my dad tried to make contact with me but my mother never let him.  any letters or gifts he sent she kept

locked up in her room. I only know this cause i found them when i was alone.  so many birthday cards

and pictures.  from what I read he was married again to a very nice lady.  he wanted me to come

spend a summer with him and his new wife.  but mother would never allow me to.  i haven't seen my

dad since he left.   but that all changed the day my mother got a letter in the mail.  i guess after much

fighting the courts had ordered my mother to hand me over to my father for the whole summer.

mother hated him and said many words i was unfamiliar with over the phone.  but she couldn't keep

me from it.  she had to let me go.  guess that's where my life's story really begins.  a summer that

would change my life forever and at the end of it i would have to choose what i wanted.  but what

mattered was that for the first time in my life i would be free from my mothers hold.
