Peanut Butter Criminal POV

I sneak out the back window carefully. One wrong move and I will be behind bars for the rest of my life.

I stuff the forensics bags under my coat

I jump onto the roof from a trash can, almost falling, but catching myself just in time.

A voice calls out the open window.

"Why the heck would the thief leave a peanut butter sandwich and jelly as blood? And then steal all the clues?"

Not thief, I think. Thieves.

Speaking of which, my sister Jella is  crouched behind a recycling bin over on the next street.

I quickly  run across the roof, being careful to tread lightly. Once I'm over to the other roof I climb down the fire escape, sliding down the last few rungs into a deserted ally.

I walk casually out onto the sidewalk.

Perfect.

There are tons of people walking by. I need to create a very loud diversion, so loud that people on the other side of the street would hear and direct their attention to me. Then my sister could walk away with no one to see.

I see a small hot dog cart unattended. I make sure no one is in the way, then I run and do  a handstand on the handle of the cart, balancing perfectly. I hear gasps as I touch my toes to my head.

I get  down and start shouting at the top of my lungs.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! WELCOME TO THE FIFTH ANNUAL STREET GYMNASTICS SHOW SPONSORED BY..." I look behind me.

"FRANKS HOTDOGS!"

I glance over at the other side of the street. People are starting to cross over to see what the commotion is.

"WELCOME TO... TRICKS, FLIPS, AND DIPS!"

As I say this, I flip and land on my hands, then start walking back and forth. I see a figure run down the street. Mission Accomplished

I set my hat on the ground, uncovering my wild caramel hair. A pile of change soon appears.

Now for my getaway.

"Any suggestions?"

A small girl raises her hand.

"Yes?"

"Can you do this?"

She flips her head over her heels and lands on her back, launching in a somersault then landing in splits.

Wow. I haven't done that in a few years.

I replicate it exactly, and add jazz hands at the end.

The girl nods, impressed.

"And for my final trick, the best trick of them all, the trick only Houdini could accomplish..."

That was the way to leave, to distract the audience.

I reach behind me and quickly pull out the smoke bomb I had been hiding there.

I pull the plug, and smoke immediately bursts out.

I sprint across the street and to the next block, where my sister is waiting in our car. I get in and we speed off.

"Nice one. You got the clues?"

"Yep."

We drive until we come to a wide dirt road with a sign that states that if we trespass onto this land we will be caught and put in jail.

Jella turns into it and soon enough a huge industrial building comes into view.
