*still Emily's pov*

Cody went to the studio today, and Alli is spending some time with her family today. I'm hanging with Ryan, we decided to meet at the mall. The mall isn't that far away, so I just walk.

I'm almost half way there, when someone honks at me, and stops. I turn around to see Jake. Awkward...

"hey! Maggie right?!"

"yeah! Jake right?" I laughed, acting like I didn't know.

"yhup! you uhh, you wanna hang out?"

"I'm actually meeting up with Ryan right now, but thanks!"

"I'm asking you out... you know that right.." crap... why am I so oblivious!? "oh... uhh.. no.. but sorry, I have a boyfriend."

"oh come on, he doesn't have to know."

"no way!" I continue to walk.

"fine! your missing out!"

He drives off.

ugh, jerk! how did I have a crush on him?? Whatever.

I get to the mall, and see Ryan sitting on a bench, texting probably.

I run up to him and stand in front of him. He slowly looks up, and when he sees it's me, he jumps up, and hugs me.

"Maggie! I've misses you!"

"haha, I missed you to Ryan!"

We walk into the mall, and talk and just hang out. while we are walking together, suddenly a bunch of paparazzi come, flashing cameras. Cody isn't here to save me this time. I grab Ryan's hand, and charge out of the circle, only to see fans. I sign a few autographs, and take a few pictures, and we run to my house.

"well... that was.. uhhh..."

"haha interesting, Ryan, interesting..."

"yeah!"

I sit down, just on the floor... I do that a lot...

"hey Emily. I'm hungry." He starts walking into the kitchen.

"well there is the kitchen."

"aren't you going to get me food? I'm the guest" We both laugh.

"you know your not a guest anymore!!"

He laughed, and got a pop tart.

"so are thingss??" he asked, sitting down next to me on the couch.

"great! you?"

"pretty good."

We sit there for awhile... it's kind of awkward...

"what do you want to do now?"he said, finally breaking the silence.

"uhh... I don't know... what do you want to do?"

"what time is it?"

"3:00 why?"

"I'm supposed to be home by 3:30"

"oh, well... umm... I don't know. your house could be a half an hour away if we walk slowly aha."

"okay if you wanna do that" he smiled weakly.

"you okay Ryan? you've been acting kind of weird all day."

"yeah... yeah... in fine"

I stand up, put my hands on his shoulders, and look him in the eyes.

"you sure? you can tell me anything."

"yeah, I'm sure." he smiles.

"okay, your just like my big bro, I don't want anything to happen to you or something? ya know?"

"yeah, little sis aha."

RYAN'S POV:

ouch. I mean it's awesome that she thinks of me as a brother and all that but... I mean... I've liked her since we met!! This sucks, oh well. She's dating that Cody guy anyways, she would NEVER go for me.

"let's go." I jump up.

"okay!" she jumps up aswell.

I open the door, and walk out, she walks out behind me, and closes the door, we walk to my house slowly, and just talk.

"I had an awesome day!"

"me to!" She hugs me, as we get to my house.

"see ya later Ryan!" She starts to run off, back to her house.

"bye!"

I drag myself up the stairs into my house.

"hey lil bro! why so down?"My older brother, Justin, messed up my hair while saying so.

"oh, nothing. just kind of tired."

"okay. well, I'm going to go shoot some hoops? see ya." and he ran out the door.
