Soonyoung had his little ramble about some new girl. You lost track of her name almost as soon as he started, they seemed to have grown closer and closer. You had no right to be mad with him, you guys weren't dating. You were mainly best friends. So you would let him ramble on about his new friend because he seemed happy.
You began to pick up on his habits 'sorry Y/N me and Hyerin are hanging out', 'I'm showing Hyerin around the studio, maybe some other time' his little things went on and on. You began to ignore his texts, those little cute ones he would send you everyday. So you decided you needed someone to talk to and spend time with. Oddly enough your closest friend within the group was their little maknae Lee Chan.
And for the time being you weren't having the feeling of being replaced and enjoyed Chan being Chan. "Noona" he said happily as he wrapped his arms around you when he saw you at the mall. He gave you a smile "what do you want to do Chan? My treat" you say, he looked at you with wide eyes "really?" he asks "as long as its not creepy or overly expensive" you say with a small laugh. "I wanted to get food and look around" he said with a shrug.
Soonyoung sat calmly at the dorm as he looked on Instagram and Twitter as pictures of you and Dino were popping up here and there after your little adventure with each other and ones of prior days. "Why the frown?" Mingyu asked as he looked up from his phone at his friend "when did Dino and Y/N start hanging out so much?" Soonyoung asked. "Awhile I guess they were hanging. Why are you jealous or something?" Mingyu teased.
Soonyoung let out a weird sound that gave him away pretty quickly "of course not I just want to know why my friends are hanging out with each other..Alone. You know it would be weird if her and Dino were dating he's still so young and she's an adult" Soonyoung said as calmly as he could. "I think Dino likes hanging out with her. She spoils him" Mingyu shrugs as a smirk grows on his face.
Soon the door opened and a giggly Chan came in caring a bag of goodies "did you have fun?" Soonyoung asked with an annoyed tone which the maknae didn't seem to pick up on. "Y/N and I went out to the mall and she got me a new shirt and a phone case. I got her a one of those little things you put in the headphone jack and lunch" Chan lists off as he pulled out a bright shirt and turned his phone around before he went to go back to his room.
"Why hasn't Y/N been texting me?" Soonyoung asked following behind him "she's been giving you space" he says with a shrug. "Space?" Soonyoung says confused "yeah you and Hyerin have been hanging out and she felt like it would ruin your chances if you were hanging out together" Chan says as he quickly changed into the new shirt. "Wait wait wait she thinks I like her?" Soonyoung asks "you don't?" Chan responds with a raised brow "no I like someone else" Soonyoung blushes.
"Y/N right? You should see the way you two look at each other" he tells his hyung with a smile. "She looks at me the same way?" Soonyoung asks with hope "of course she does" Chan shrugs. "Also if you two start dating I still want to hang out with Y/N she's very-" he was cut short by the lack of Soonyoung in the room. Chan smiles knowing exactly where he was running off too.
