Andie & Andrei

Author's Note : First of all. I'd like to tell you guys, that this one shot is inspired by the song Don't Cry Joni by Conway Twitty.

I told her that i was leaving next week and i didn't expect her to say those words.

"Andrei please stay with me. Don't leave, When i'm older you'll see. I'll give my heart to you, just please...Wait for me." She said and walked away without waiting for my reply.

Even though she wouldn't hear me

"I'm Sorry." I breathed. But that didn't stop me from leaving this country

Andie was the girl who lived next door. I've known her I guess 10 years or more. Andie wrote me a note one day. And this is what she had to say.

Andrei please stay with me. Don't leave, When i'm older you'll see. I'll give my heart to you, just please...Wait for me.

Slowly I read her note once more and i decided to go to her house. My hand was shaking when i rang the door bell. I smiled as soon as i saw her walking towards the gate. She was wearing the beanie i gave her as a gift on her birthday. She's so beautiful—but my smile soon faded when i remembered what i have to say to her.

"What brings you here?" She said as she opened the gate of their house

"I need to tell you something."

"Uhhh yeah sure."

"Let's not talk here. Can we instead talk at the nearby park?"

We silently walked to the park. We sat on one of the bench there

I heaved a sigh

"Andie, andie please don't cry. I know you'll forget me by and by, You're still young at the age of 15 and i'm already 20 years old and Andie i just can't wait for you."

Soon I left our country.

I was at a café waiting for my date to come. I requested, that can He give me a sign to know what i'll do next.

She arrived wearing a beanie.

That's my sign!

"Hey, i'm really sorry. But i need to go." After i said that to her, i ran out of the café as fast as i could.

I tried to get my mind off Andie but these words kept haunting my memory, the words that Andie said to me.

Andrei please stay with me. Don't leave, When i'm older you'll see. I'll give my heart to you, just please...Wait for me.

I packed my clothes and I rode a plane on the same day. I had to see Andie. I had to explain how my heart was filled with her memory. And ask my Andie if she'd marry me.

I ran all the way to the house next door. But things weren't like they were before

My teardrops fell like rain that day. When I heard what Andie had to say.

"Andrei, andrei please don't cry. I know you'll forget me by and by, It's been five years since you've been gone Andrei. I married your best friend Adrian."

Earlier our ST discussed a lesson on english and her example on the lesson was Don't Cry Joni. So yeah i discovered this song because of her :)
