The Meeting

Chapter 1: The Meeting

"Ella come down here right now and come meet the next door neighbors with me!"
"Really mom do I have to?!" "Yes! Now get down here right now!" "Ugh fine but this means I'm not doing the dishes tonight!" "Whatever Ella I didn't hear you!"

Ding. Dong. Dong. Ding.

"Millie can you please get that for me please!" I heard foot steps from the other side of the door coming and I started to get nervous, I thought to myself maybe I will finally get more friends today, but I also could get more enemies today to so... I heard a little girls voice so I snapped out of my thoughts and fixed my eyes on this little girl that looks like she's about 4 years old and she has two pig tails on her shoulders and she's wearing a pink shirt with a purple cardigan and blue leggings with a green to to around her waist. Even though she was wearing weird clothes she still looked adorable in her outfit.

I was interrupted in my thoughts again by my mom saying.. "Hello are your parents home?" The cute little girl which I think her name was Millie responded with "yes my mommy is home I'll go get her for you."

After about a minute or so of waiting a middle aged women came to the door wearing an apron with flour on it saying "hi how can I help you?" My mom gave me a glare from the corner of her eye which was basically telling me to introduce us so I did "hey I'm Ella and this is my mom Amy, we're your next door neighbors and we were just coming over to say hello and give you this casserole as a greeting to the neighbour hood."

After I finished talking my mom just gave me a quick nod saying good job. "Wow thank you so much for this casserole, why don't you two come over for dinner tonight?" My mom looked at me waiting to answer but I just stared at her with a look saying I don't wanna so she said to the women in front of us "I'm so sorry but we have to be somewhere tonight but maybe another night." I heard Millie sigh and say "awe but I really wanted to play dolls with you."
My mom looked at her then to Millie's mom saying "well maybe we can stay for  an hour or so but we really do have to go somewhere tonight." I heard a loud squeal from Millie then her mom saying "I'm charlotte by the way."

After 20 minutes of playing with Millie's cabbage patch dolls a very attractive guy walked in the front door. "Jake Ryder where in the world were you!" All I could see was the hot guy that walked in I didn't even notice Charlotte yelling at guy who's name I heard was Jake and I'm assuming that he's her son.
"Chill mom I was just out with Derik and Ian."

I guess that those are his friends wait let me rephrase that.. probably his hot friends. "How about next time you tell me your going out instead of sneaking out!" When I was listening to Charlotte yell at Jake I started looking around for my phone but instead I saw Jake staring at me with a smirk on his face. I just thought to myself he's a jerk yup he's definitely a jerk, I can just tell cuz he's got the messy spiked hair the leather jacket and that signature smirk that all 'bad boys' got.

Once Charlotte was done yelling at Jake she apologized to us saying that he never does that and she was just real worried about him. Jake must of went to his room or somewhere because I scanned the area with my eyes but I couldn't find him so I just gave up and left it alone.

After having a few snacks and a bottle of water I needed to go to the washroom cuz me and Millie decided it was a good idea to have a water chugging war and let's just say that little girl has the strongest bladder I have ever seen, I had no idea where the bathroom is so I just had to ask Millie where. "Millie where is the bathroom?" "Up the stairs and on the right" she said. Once I got up the stairs I went straight into what I thought was the bathroom without even thinking about knocking cuz that's what my mom and I do at home, when I walked in there was no toilet, shower or sink but there was definitely a naked Jake standing in front of me.

Hi to whoever is reading this book (probably no one) I am very sorry if this book is not the greatest I'm not the best writer and this is my first book so.... It's not my problem. If anyone wanted to know how many words were in this book there are roughly around 893 words so I'm also sorry if this chapter was short compared to other books you read, I promise that the rest of the chapters will not be this short...maybe, so thanks for reading this book!
