Hi y'all! I'm Madison, the main character in this story. This story is true. Everything that happens in this story actually happened. I will change some names when continuing on for privacy reasons. So sit back relax and read my journal. I insist.
But in all seriousness, this is basically my journal. So if you're reading this, I have already passed on to the next life. I would never let someone publish my journal. It would be quite rude.
I'm going to start off with saying a little about myself. If somehow my diary is published, you're welcome. I'm Madison Cronin. I'm from Mississippi. I'm a southern girl. I naturally have red hair and blue eyes. I dyed my hair the day after I moved into The Ivy. It's brown now. I love reading a lot. I'm a Mormon. I'm your classic geek girl. Anything Doctor Who, Sherlock, Star Wars, Harry Potter, or Supernatural count me in. I am going to say this, even though my mom has told me to never "label" myself or to give out my information to people I just met. But this is my journal so I can say anything! I have a hair pulling disorder called Trichotillomania. It is when a person pulls out their own hair. Some people for different things. But no matter hard I try to stop myself, I fail. :( Some say, "oh, come on it's easy to stop, just tell yourself to stop." Or "you just want attention." Both of these accusing statements hurt. So yep. I also have anxiety and dysthymia (depression that jumps out of no where without any reason at all.) I am also emo. Emo doesn't mean that I cut myself or listen to "satanic" music. So by now you probably already know my favorite color. Black. It's classy, sexy, slimming, and will never go out of style. I love listening to Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Pierce the Veil, My Chemical Romance, etc. I'm not an obsessed fan. I don't know everyone's names. I don't know every single song. I just really like their music. Music is my therapy. It's amazing. Anyway, so that's just a little bit. Not much. Actually, even though you might feel like I have told you my life story. Haha. No.
My first day at BYU-Idaho. It was cold and dry. I'm not used to this weather. It's so hot and humid in Mississippi. In 5 minutes after going outside, just standing and no physical activity, you will be drenched in sweat. It's pretty bad.
I got to meet my roommates. They were actually all pretty awesome. There is Carah, Kelli, Bailee, Emma, and Kim. They were all 1st or 2nd semester Freshman. Except Kelli. It was her 3rd semester of college, but first at BYU-Idaho. Emma was the only one with a car. It was good to know that someone had a car.
