You ask me what sport I do,
I say horse riding
"But it's not a sport, it's easy!"
You tell me it takes no skill,
You tell me we just sit there,
But I ask you,
Have you ever trusted something so unpredictable, something that has a mind of its own?
Have you ever fallen from ten feet up going 35mph and then getting back on to take the risk for it to happen again?
Have you ever ran full speed towards a solid obstacle?
Have you ever jumped something that's taller then you?
Have you ever performed an intricate dance with an animal that does not speak your language?
Have you ever galloped around a tiny barrel?
Have you ever slid to a stop in two seconds before hitting a solid object?
Have you ever been afraid of losing control of something you loved?
So before you underestimate us think to yourself...
Have you ever had a team mate ten times your size?
Have you ever practised five hours a day,
Seven days a week?
Have you ever had a connection with a 1400 pound animal?

Risked
Your
Life
For
A
SPORT,
For your best friend?
Have you ever been best friends with something that can kill you in one kick?
Have you ever ridden something so powerful?
It can bring tears and anger,
Pain and sadness,
Falling of and breaking bones,
Or even death.
So before you say it's easy,
THINK AGAIN.
