Adjusting

Few weeks later

I waited for Dawn to come out her room so we can walk to school together, but I don't understand why she has to take 10 hours a day to get ready.

It literally takes me 10 minutes.

I knocked.

"Sis c'mon, we're going to be late," I said.

"Just go!! I have to finish applying my lipstick."

I rolled my eyes,"Can you just hurry it up?"

"It takes time, I don't want it messed up, I'll see you later, just go.."

I scoffed,"Fine."

I left.

She's always been like that. I don't understand though, we're part dog here, who cares what we look like. I don't. I could careless, but seemly though, the females at this school finds me attractive surprisingly.

I walked to school by myself. The girls were staring and squealing with their friends. Its been 5 weeks and yeah...I became quite popular with the ladies.

"Sup girls." I said showing my fangs. They blushed and silenty screamed, I giggled.

I came to stop and spotted the girl who never stops looking at me.

Tessa.

Yep, tessa is a ghoul. She's has been nominated as the schools top student of our class. And plus, she's super cute. Very short, and petite, really big and doll like eyes that makes her look innocent. Long, wavy hair that stops at her butt, and always wears pink lipstick. I heard she has a brother but I never seen him.

She would try and talk to me a lot actually, but I never had any interest in her besides that fact that she's cute and all. The guys would be around her all the time, and she would smile at the attention and I don't like girls like that, but I'm a nice dude so its not like I try not to ignore her.

"Hi JB," she said to me in her cutesy voice.

"Wassup"

"The sky hehe."

And she's very sarcastic-__-

Tessa: Anyways, I was wondering, you should try out for the football team, they could use your muscles *smirks*

She started to feel my arm," Wow, that's ALOT of muscle you got there heh."

I pulled away,"Yeahh no thanks. I rather not," I said. I begin to walk away but she caught up with me.

Tessa: Well you should, I'm not going to beg you but here, try outs are today and I think you would fit the team really well. If you do then, I'll be cheering for you *winks*

She handed me a flier.

"Gotta go to class toodles~" she said and left.

I looked at the flier and balled it up. Sports aren't my thing anyway.

I walked in the school with everybody else.

"HEY JB WAIT UP!!"

I turned.

Jackson

He soon finally caught up to me.

"You alright man?" I asked cause it looks like his trying to get his life back by heavily breathing.

Jackson: Yeah...my mom left me so I had to run down to school. Not the best way to go.

"You must live mighty far."
