Emotion #1: Love

You twirl your gun around the index finger connected to your hand, looking bored as the brunette woman, known as Chloe, and the handsome man, known as Lucifer, are working on a case. This particular murder involves some pretty, girly model being murdered. So far, there is only one lead on this case and that is leading to some guy who does illegal street art, although you doubt it will be him.

'Oh, the obviousness to the murderer of this crime! This is so boring, I'm actually wanting to go to bed for once,' You yawn at your own thought, your (e/c) eyes drooping slightly with dark circles under them.

"My, my, getting bored, are we? Well, we can't have that, now can we?" Lucifer says, teasing you because of your tired and bored state.

"I didn't know you cared so much," sarcasm is evident in your voice as you smirk at the devilish man, momentarily forgetting how tired you are just a few minutes previous.

He chuckles and picks you up bridal style, which you protest against by hitting his chest and shouting profanities at him as he speaks, "Let's try to get some more evidence tomorrow, Chloe. See you later!"

Knowing he isn't going to let go, even while he is driving, you lay your head against his chest, listening to his heart beat. Lucifer looks down at you as he gets into his car and begins driving back to the club. '(Y/N) looks quite adorable when she is vulnerable like this, but I am the only one who gets to see this side of her. Man, what is she doing to me?'

He thinks curiously, but there is an emotion in his eyes he has not let out since he was kicked out of heaven by his dear old dad.

See, ever since Lucifer has met you, he is immediately mesmerized by you. Like Chloe, you did not fall for his whole 'tell me your deepest desires, and also the truth,' trick. Also, you always deny his advances when he attempts to seduce you, which always earns him a kick in the arse from you.

He has to admit, feeling pain is, somewhat, surprising and exciting. It fascinates him how you can go from being sarcastic and cocky to being kind and caring, although he is usually on the receiving end of that, besides Chloe.

"Lucifer, why is your heart beating so fast?" Ah, there it is, the change to kind and caring.

Lucifer chuckles and carries you inside of the club, opening the door with his key, "I guess I am rather fond of you, love, besides you're an interesting human. Usually, they are so boring and dull, always going through the same old thing everyday, but you keep me on my toes, surprising me with something new every time we're together."

You wrap your arms around his neck, pressing your lips to his cheek softly, and smile lazily, "Hm, whether you're the actual devil or not, you're surprisingly good for someone who is supposed to be bad."

Love really does change people...
