CHAPTER 1: The New Neighbor

Park Chanyeol's POV

It was just a plain, same day for me. Same routines and scenarios. I lazily wake up and hurriedly fixed my bed as soon as I heard my mom's calling. "Chanyeol, hurry up and take your breakfast already before it gets cold. Pali!!" mom yelled. "Arasseo, I'm coming. Tss." I replied. "What took you so long, Pabo?" sister angrily asked. "Eomma, why do I need to wake up early? It's our winter break, if I haven't reminded you yet." I sarcastically said. "I didn't forgot, I woke you up early on purpose."-Mom. "Wae? Just spit it out already" I said with an angry tone. "Pardon? Who taught you to talk like that in front of your mom. You're only 10 years old and I didn't raise you just to be like that. You're hurting my feelings. *sobs*. Argghh..there she goes again. "Eomma, mian"-Me. She later stops sobbing. "As I was saying, I need you to put this 'Sold' sign to that house in front. Simple right." she blabbed. "Right. Then why don't you put it yourself?"-Me. "Aniyo, no one should see me like this. I haven't washed my face and combed my hair yet. This could ruin my reputation." mom worriedly said. "Hahahhah..Arasseo! I give up." I said as I was laughing. Mom just smiled. Then I went to the house next door. So someone already bought the house, eh. I thought to myself. "Yah! Let's play." I turn around as I heard the voice revealing 11 faces namely Luhan, Chen, Baekhyun, Kai, Xiumin, Sehun, Lay, Suho, Kris, Tao and D.O. "Of course but after I finish this, Arasseo?" I said. "I heard that we will be having a new neighbor. Are they gonna live there?" Kris-hyung asked. "Ne, I think so." I answered. "I heard that they have a daughter, at last a girlfriend... I mean a new chingu."-Luhan-hyung. "Aren't we enough already? I mean there's too many of us."-Me. "As the leader I will be the one to decide. It depends, if she's cute then she's in. Is it alright?"-Suho. "Ne." they said in unison. "Ne, hehehe." half confused, half uncertain. Then we went to the playground. After that, our maid called me to take lunch then I invited them to join in. "Are you enjoying it kids?" mom asked while smiling. "Yes, kamsamnida noona." Lay responded. "Aniyo, don't call me that name. I'm getting shy." mom said. "Eomma! seriously?" I shyly said. "Wae?? Arasseo. Oh my sweet big eared baby. Eat deliciously." mom said with a smile. Then she slowly walks away. "Where's your noona?" Kris-hyung asked while blushing. "Hyung, why did you ask?" I confusedly ask. "Because, Kris-hyung has a cru-" Tao said but Kris-hyung covered his mouth while blushing so hard. "Don't tell me you like her?" I ask while in shock. "Aniyo, it's not like that", he said while blushing some more. "She's probably in her room."-Me. We went silent when we heard noises outside that made us turn instinctively. It's them, the new neighbors. A girl caught my attention. She is really pretty and cute with her hair braided. Then I heard them shout in amazement. "Kyeopta!!!" they shouted in unison. I peeked at the window again and saw her looking in our direction then smiled. I blushed really hard and run to the comfort room with my hand covering my blushing face. I found myself at the comfort room while looking at the mirror. I saw my own reflection. I was blushing so hard that my face turned red just like a tomato. That girl really is something, I thought to myself. "Yah!! Why are you here? Don't you know how to knock?" a voice said. I trembled in fear as I slowly turn around and saw.............Sehun doing his business. There I got back to reality. "I thought you we're downstairs."-Me. "Mother Nature called me hyung, so I have to answer", he explained. "So that's why it smells like rotten garbage here. Hahaaha."-Me. "Yah!! It doesn't really smell even a little.*sniff*. Okay I admit."-Sehun. "Pali, there's someone you've gotta see."-Me. "Arasseo! Hyung, I'm almost done. Sheeshh." he answered with an annoyed face.

Downstairs after 5 minutes...

"Hyungs! Where are you? Chanyeol-hyung where are they? Hyungs! hyu-" he shouted as he tries to find them. "Yah! I think I know where they are." I said while blankly staring at the window. We went outside and found them flir- I mean with our new neighbor. "Annyeong Hasseyo! EXO imnida." they all cited while bowing their heads 90 degrees. "EXO??" Sehun and I chorusly said. "Where'd you get that name?" I confusedly ask. "Oh! By the way this is Chanyeol and Sehun. They are also a part of EXO." I saw her smile while looking at us that made me blush a little bit but I shrugged it off. "What EXO? Who's EXO?" I continuously ask. "Come here." Chen-Hyung said. "Excuse us for a while, Sandara."-Suho-hyung. So Sandara's her name huh, I thought to myself. "What's with the EXO thing, huh?"-Sehun. "We just thought that since where having a new member we should get a group name. EXO sounds cool." Kai explained. "Yeah. I'll admit it is. What does it mean?" the maknae curiously ask. "Nothing, it just sounds cool."-Xiumin-hyung. "Can I join in?" a sweet and solemn voice asked. We turned around and saw Sandara looking at us with sweet eyes. "Of course." they all agreed. Then we played after that. I started to feel comfortable around her and doesn't feel awkward and blushed around her anymore. She's not that hard to be comfortable with. We played hard all day and didn't notice the time until our maids called us to go home. We bid each other goodbye. "Jalgayo, Sandara. It was fun being with you." all of us said. "Kamsamnida, oppas. I also enjoyed today." she sweetly said. She kissed our forehead before we go. "Naeil boiyo." I said. "Come on, Chanyeol." the other member yelled. She smiled that anyone could melt. Then I saw her walk towards the door. Then we parted ways since I live just next door. I hurriedly went to my room after I took my half-bath. I slowly closed my eyes while thinking what could happen tomorrow and fell asleep. That routine repeats everyday but we can't get tired of it as long as we have each other.
