I cannot let her move , this cannot be happening . She has been my best friend since we were 6 months old we even share the same birthday . I can't live without her. This is unreal it's ridiculous, phew I need to continue on with my day and figure out a way to ditch school at lunch and go and see her I need to talk her parents out of this. The sound of the bell pounds at my ear drums , and I just missed that whole math lesson ,great. After I finished language it was our hour lunch break so I went to Leah's house. She lives 10 blocks away from the school , but on the way to her house I stopped at Melinda's diner to get her a cheese bagel extra butter and a French vanilla coffee ( me and her get the exact same thing all the time so I got myself one too ) I trudged through the newly fallen snow and finally arrived at her street when my shoulders shrunk at the sight of a moving van. I tried to run without slipping, I got to her house and she walked outside her house with shoulders low dropped her moving box on the snowy and wet porch steps and ran over to me and jumped in my arms ( there is quite a height and weight different between us ) she held me tightly and I felt her warm hug on my cold skin, her blonde hair flowed in the icy wind as she held me tight I felt her warm hug on my cold skin. " I love you " she whispered in my ear with a weak trembling voice I felt a warm tear fall down my icy cold cheeks it tingled on my cheeks, She knew I felt the same. " I love you too" I responded, she dropped her arms as if she was done with the hug but I held her tighter  because I knew she needed it. I let her go and grabbed her face I wiped away her tears with my thumbs. I relaxed my tense shoulders and let my hands fall to my sides, I stared into her watery eyes and then linked arms with her and walked into her house with her. We ate our food and talked about why her parents were making her move " my dad got a job in Texas because they are having a serious domestic animal shortage " her dad was a pet vet at a nearby pet shop, her dad is the best at what he does. " so he is opening up a store in Texas ? " I asked she responded after taking a deep breath " well yes so that means we have to start all new it's ridiculous " I looked at her with sympathy ** ding ,ding** my eyes widened " it's probably just my dad nothing to worry about " she looked at me in disbelief " Shia if it's nothing then why did you cringe at the sound of ur phone " she giggled " well Leah the thing is I never told my dad I was coming so the school probably called home to rat me out , or its my friend Amanda " at first Leah looked pleased because she knew that Shia hadn't told her dad about ditching school to come here but then she look confused " woah already replacing me chill man I haven't even left yet " I didn't mean it like that I didn't think Leah would take it like that " no no Leah don't take it like that it's just you and Melissa became friends with her so I figured I would try becoming her friend " I could tell by her facial expression she knew it was more but she didn't want to start an argument now so she just went along with my little white lie. She walked me outside " ok well u should go back to school I'm gonna go lay down " she gave me a hug and went upstairs. Once I saw her out of my line of view I quietly ran inside wanting to speak with her parents, I saw her mother " Mrs. Coulda please wait " she turned around at the sound of my voice and looked at me in worry probably thinking I was in pain witch mentally I was " what's wrong Shia " she had distress in her voice I knew he didn't want to move either this place is filled with memory's, she knew my mom in preschool and they were bestfriends she took my mothers passing as hard as my dad and I " please don't leave Mrs. Coulda your daughter means everything to me I don't know if I could go on without her please you know what it's like to loose your bestfriend, I have already lost my mother don't take my best friend too " she felt horrible, it want my intention but if it got her to stay I would try anything. She took a glance at the stairway to make sure Leah wasn't listening and she took hold of my hand and brought me out to their backyard and sat beside me on their bench swing" listen Shia I don't want to move either trust me but we need to Leah's father is loosing business here and we are running out of money " her eyes filled with tears just as mine did " I need your daughter tho she is my rock, the pencil to my paper the peanut butter to my jelly " she sighed as her shoulders fell " I know sweetie maybe we can figure something out so that u guys can see each other weekend " at that moment I knew she had told a little white lie. If her and Mr. Coulda were loosing money how could they pay for Leah to come back every other weekend " what if she lived with me until grad ?" She knew that Mr. Coulda would never agree but she still said " I will see what I can do " she hugged me tight and brought me into the kitchen for lunch then drove me back to school.
