Clang! Clang!

I awoke with a start. What the hell? Where am I? What's going on?

Then, It hit me. They kidnapped me! Those sons of bitches! How could they just rip me away from my home, to this... I don't even know what "This" is. There are no lights on. No windows. Everywhere I looked, All I saw was darkness, as endless and as dark as the night. the room was frigid, and I could hear the wind howling outside. The ground was worse, It was hard, dusty and bone-chilling cold.

The clanging continued.

"Hello..? Is anyone there?" I tried sounding demanding, but instead, I sounded scared.

The clanging stopped and instead I heard some shuffling. I turned in the direction of the noise and tried to search for something, anything. I tried to reach out, but my hands were cuffed to a pipe. Damn it!

"Hello?" I asked again, this time sounding more sure and less scared.

"Hello." a female voice squeaked.

"Ohh, No.. He brought someone new." someone else-a guy said.

"Woah, wait....How many people has he brought?" I asked.

The guy chuckled. "Too many to count." I could hear some more metal clanging, it's probably the cuffs making noise as he moves.

Now, I asked the more obvious questions. "Where are we?'

"The hell do I know. It must be pretty far away, maybe the country side..?' He guessed.

"Why am I here?"

"You're his new plaything, his latest entertainment."

"Do they...Do they kill people?" my voice cracked as I asked.

He didn't answer, and I didn't expect him to, his silence gave it away."....It depends....If he decides you're his favorite, then you stay alive, if he gets bored of you, then..."

"What is this? Like, where are we locked up?"

"We're in the basement, I think."

"Who else is down here?"

"Well, there's me, I'm Wyatt, There's Rose, she's a bit shy, and then there's Emily...." He trailed off.

"Hello." Again, the same female voice squeaked."I'm Rose, who are you?"

"I'm Elizabeth, but call me Liz."

"Okay, Liz. Nice to meet you!"

"I hope you don't mind me asking, but how old are you all?"I asked.

"Well, I'm eighteen and Rose is eleven and Emily....She's--"

"I'm seventeen." Another female voice said. Emily i suppose.

"Emily! You shouldn't talk too much. I don't want you to push yourself." Wyatt complained.

"Oh, Wyatt, I'm fine, stop fussing over me, I can answer for myself. Plus...."She went into a coughing fit, that later grew into horrible wheezing. I thought it would never end."Plus, I want to meet the new girl." she said at last.

"Please, don't push yourself. I don't want you to get worse because of me." I pleaded.

"I'm fine, don't worry." and so she dismissed it like it was nothing. then, the silence took it's place, Rose and Wyatt knew she wasn't doing well, but they wouldn't say so. "Hey, Liz, how old are you?" she asked.

"I'm seventeen, just like you. Hey, I have a question. Why the hell is no one freaking out! Am I really the only one freaking out right now? Why are you all so calm about this?" I asked. Everyone here is just so... so goddamn calm about it. I don't get it! We're all going to die! He's going to chop us into little pieces and they don't seem to care.

"What else can we do...?"Emily whispered.

"We could fight back, I mean if it only them against us, right?"

the only answer I got was the howling wind outside. It filled the dark room with its loud roar. Then, I could hear the sound of shoes pounding on the floor. The footsteps grew closer and closer. "They're coming, act normal!" Rose whispered.

The footsteps ended right outside the door. I could hear them shoving the keys into the lock and turning them. The door opened with a loud whine and there stood someone with a bright flashlight. They pointed it around the room. It was only for a few seconds, but i could see everyone. Wyatt was handsome. His chiselled features and brown eyes stood out to me. He was one of the guys I'd love to go on a date with. Next was Rose. Rose looked tiny, her fine features and long red hair made her look small and innocent. Then there's Emily. Emily look dead. Her face looked very pale, her cheeks looked hollow, and every single bone in her body stood out. She probably once had nice, thick brown hair, but now it looked thin.

They pointed the flashlight on me. It made me cringe back, I couldn't look at it. It was way too bright.

"There's my Liz!" Charles exclaimed happily. "Come on, Liz. I want to show you around." He walked in front of me.

"I kinda can't. I have cuffs on."I said sarcastically, and shook the cuffs alittle to demonstrate. If I could get him to get my cuffs off, then maybe...I could get out. I could get everyone out.

"Okay, then. I'll take them off." He said calmly. Wait a minute... is he really going to do it? Or Is he pulling a trick on me? I turned to look at Wyatt. all he gave me was an apologetic look.

What's going o--Fuck! He shoved a syringe into my arm, and I watched as he released the clear liquid into my bloodstream. "What the hell! Why did you do that?" I yelled at him.

"Did you really think I was going to let you go? just like that? Do you think I'm that stupid!?" he frowned. "I thought you were smarter than that. I guess not." he took the needle out and threw it to the side. Taking his sweet time, he got another set of keys from his pockets and tried each key on the cuffs. After 5 minutes of sitting there with his body close to mine, he found the key and unlocked it. The instant he took them off, I let my hands fall to my lap and examined them. they were a bit bruised and swollen. Not too bad, but they hurt like hell. "Come on, let me show you around." He said less excited now, and more....disappointed. I tried to get up, but it was difficult. Everything spun around me, as if I were on a merry go round. I finally made it out the door, when he closed it behind me and locked it.

"Is that really necessary? They can barely move, do you really think they're going to get out?" I said without thinking. Whoops...I shouldn't have done that. He's already disappointed in me, the least I need is for him to get mad. But, he didn't get mad, instead look at me curiously, Weirdly.

"It's not for them, but you are a smart girl, aren't you. You notice everything around you." He gave me a pointed look. "I'll have to be more careful around you...."He said to himself. What the hell! why is he so weird? Well, what do you expect from someone who kidnaps you...I sighed and took a few steps and almost tripped, but he caught me. I cringed back from his touch, and tried to push him away, but he helped me up anyways. His hands were rough and scratchy against my skin.

"I'm fine. I'm fine!" I tried to convince him so he'd let go. Once that he saw I wasn't going to fall down, he slowly took his hands off of me, and watched me stand up straight.

"Walk in front of me." He waved the flashlight in front of him.

"Come on! I don't have all day!" He said angrily when he saw me hesitate.

"Okay! Okay, I'm going!" I said. I tried to walk in front of him without looking like I was going to fall, but inside, I felt like my legs were turned into spaghetti. The room kept spinning, except the bright, white, lights made it worse, they illuminated the white hallways, and floor. They blinded me so much, that I had to look down instead of forward.

after walking for a few minutes, he said. "make a right, and we're there." I did as he said. when we finally turned into the room. I couldn't  help but wonder. What the Hell does he think we're going to do!

"Do you like it?" he asked with a faint smirk.
