This poem isn't the best but I wrote it to try and help get the word across about child abuse so don't expect a lot because this wasn't done for votes or reads this was done for every child that has been abused by their parents or anyone for no apparent reason.

My name is Isobelle and I am five years old,

I'm a good girl and do as I am told.

But still I sit with broken bones,

As I get hit by hard stones.

I feel isolated and scared,

Because I am never prepared.

For the beatings I recieve,

I know that somehow I must leave.

My mummy won't even hug me,

A hug is all I need but I let her be.

Daddy hates me and everything I do,

He won't even listen when I say 'I love you'.

One single tear that I cry,

Is a ticket for a painful way to die.

Daddy thinks it's funny when I sob,

He laughs and calls me a big ugly blob.

When I am alone in my room,

I feel safer but still full of gloom.

Of course I love my mummy and daddy,

I tell that to my teddy, Maddie.

I just wish that things would get better,

I once tried writing them a letter.

They shouted and ripped it up,

And daddy hit me hard with a broken cup.

My name is Isobelle and I am five years old,

I'm a good girl and do as I am told.

I love my parents and that is true,

But I know that my time is due.

It's not right and it needs to stop - Child Abuse.
