The Vistor

... I awoke to the feel of some strange fabric covering me. Groggily, I pushed myself up, looking around at an array of unfamiliar surroundings. Everything hurt. My bones ached, my muscles groaned, my stomach growled, and I was confused as hell. I also had no memory of who I was or where I was, except for my name. It was dark, which not only added to my confusion, but cast a bizarre deep blue over everything. Apparently, I was lying in a small twin-sized bed in a small room, neat and tidy, with a desk and a lamp. I walked to the lamp and turned it on. With the lamp's light, I could finally examine my surroundings. The bed was indeed twin-sized, as I originally guessed, and looked very cozy. The desk, which was made of an unrecognizable wood, looked sturdy and well-built. On top of it was a picture frame with a family animals? A older bunny was hugging two young bunnies, one male, the other female, with an older cow in the background. Strangely, the bunnies and cow were wearing clothes and standing...
I turned my attention to the walls and floors, noticing that some fuzzy pink rug covered most of the floor. The walls were made of some pale stone, pink in color. There was a window on the north side of the room, above the desk. I was too short to look out of it though, and only saw the stars up above. On the east side of the room was a sturdy door. I walked over to it, suspecting it was locked. However, to my surprise, the door sprung open when I tried the handle.
The room I had been in, presumably a bedroom, opened into a brightly lit hallway. This hallway continued down to the right, with two more doors next to mine. I tiptoed down the hall, scared something would jump out at anything second. The hall emptied into a homely living room containing a fireplace, two cozy chairs, and a rather large painting on the wall.
One side of the room opened into a small kitchen with a fridge, sink, and stove. Another small window was set into the wall above the sink. A door was set into the side of the kitchen; this one was locked. Suddenly, I heard a door open back in the hallway. I rushed into the living room about to find a place to hide and ran headfirst into something.
"Ow!....... Oh, you're up, miss? I was afraid... Hm?" said the thing.
"Wha... Wha..." I stammered.
"Are you okay?" It said.
It, upon further examination, was a young bunny wearing a nightgown. He looked concerned.
"Oh! You're human, right? This must be quite the shock. Hehe. Don't worry, I won't hurt you," he continued.
He took me to one of the armchairs by the fireplace. As I was sitting down, the bunny lit a fire. He went and sat in the other chair.
"Are you scared? I would be, if I was you, waking up in a random place, talking to a bunny, pretty weird stuff... I'm not helping, am I?"
"N-not really," I said.
"Hmm. But really, you're safe."
"Wh-where am I?"
"Well, um, well, um, you see, this, uh, place, is a kingdom of, erm, people- well, we aren't humans, obviously, but for lack of a better word- and well... I can't really explain this, when Dad gets up he'll help you. Oh, I'm Alegreya, um, what's your name, miss?"
"I-I'm D- Daniel. Meredith Daniel. Just call me Dan."
"Ngh... It's like three in the morning... Ugh, you probably can't sleep anymore, been asleep for some time. So... I'm going to head back to bed... G'Night."
Alegreya got up from the chair and walked down the hall to one of the other doors. Before going in, he stopped and looked back.
"If you want any food, just look in the fridge," he said, "G'Night."
