Chapter:6

I woke up the next morning very sleepy. The doctors gave me some medicine that would make me non- sleepy. My parents picked up my breakfast from the food room. After breakfast my first visitor came to my hospital room. I knew who was going to be the first person. Kaitlyn I missed you so much, the whole all the cheerleaders thought you were dead Kitty shouted. Nope I'm alive I said in a not happy voice. Why are you not happy all of a sudden Kitty said confused. Ok you can't tell anyone besides the all the cheerleaders any way I can shoot lightning out of my hands, I can fly, and other lightning stuff I whispered to Kitty. WOW that's like not possible for a girl to get lightning powers like that Kitty whispered- shouted to me. Ok you better go back to school before you get in trouble I warned her. Before I leave I need to give you my present she shouted excitedly. Ok what is it I asked curiously. Here it's ......... Blue and purple eyeshadow, Light pink lipstick, and Hair stuff Kitty shouted. Awwww your the best Kitty I shouted. Ok see you later she replied excitedly.

The next person came in it was........... My new friend Samantha. Hey Samantha what's up I said excitedly. Hi, I got you a get well present she exclaimed. What did you get me I asked. I got you a pair of super boots she shouted. Thank you so much I shouted. Your welcome she whisperd. I have to go back to school now.... Bye she said. I'm sure there was no one else coming to visit me because I all of my friends visit me already I thought.

But then someone walked in with Black Sunglasses and a long Black Coat.The person also had long hair so i'm guessing it was a girl. The person took her jacket off and their sunglasses. It was........ Sophia I thought. Why are you here I asked angrily. I came here because I got you a get well present and I want to be your friend again she said embarrassed. "I guess we could be friends again" I whispered in a happy voice. "Yay" Sophia shouted. "But then why did you pick on me if you wanted to be my friend" I asked. "I picked on you because I was mad you got on the cheer squad and I didn't" she whispered. I am so sorry that you didn't make it on to the cheer squad I said sadly. But a can ask the coach if you can join I said happily. "Really, but wait how will I be able to join" Sophia asked. "Molly broke her leg by doing the splits and it was her first time" I laughed. "Thank You so much Kaitlyn" Sophia shouted. "Your Welcome" I shouted happily. "Oh wait before I go back to school I have something for you" Sophia whispered. She handed me a pink box with a teal ribbon wrapped around it. I ripped off the ribbon and opened the box and what I saw was a old photo book of memories of me and her in 4k till 5th grade. "Thank you so much Sophia" I said teary eyed. Your Welcome she whispered.

10 seconds later she left and my parents came back in the room and told me to get dressed and go to room 157. Which is probably where the psychologist that knows how to handle mutants room is I thought.I got dressed and went downstairs to room 157. I knocked on the door and waited....10 seconds later she opened the door and Welcomed me in her office. Her name was Ashley Smith. She asked me if I were ok that I have powers and I could hurt someone or worse. I said yes I'm fine but I'm scared I could hurt my parents or my friends. She told me not to get really mad all the time and always take deep breathes when I get frustrated. I told her thank you for all of the advice and I would see her tomorrow to test my powers. I started to walk towards the door but she stopped me and handed me a box. I opened it right away after she handed it to me. What was inside the box was a new Super Suit to wear tomorrow when I test my powers. "This is the coolest thing ever" I shouted. "Thank you". "Your Welcome Kaitlyn and I will see you tomorrow" she said in a happy voice.

I headed back upstairs to room 215.(which is my room). When I came upstairs my Parents were acting very strange like they had already set up dinner for me. "Why is there dinner already set up" I said in confusion. "Well Sweetie, we want you to know that we love you so much" Dad said sweetly. "Dad you don't need to say that" I said. "Kaitlyn please always remember we are so happy you are our daughter" Mom said nicely. "Guys why are you acting so strange" I asked. "Ok you have to go back to school on Friday this week" Mom said nervously. "WHAT" I screamed. "Kaitlyn there is nothing to scream about" Dad said in calming a Voice. "Yes there is something to scream about which is the fact that I have to go to school on friday and I could hurt somebody or worse" I shouted. "Kaitlyn just calm down before you hurt anyone" Mom shouted. I took a deep breathe a sat down on the Hospital bed. A moment later I started to eat some of my dinner. I was getting very tired so I put on my warm pajamas and went to sleep.

I woke up the next morning at 7:30 a.m. A couple minutes later I went to the food room and got myself a raisin bagel. When I got back upstairs I put on my Super Suit. And headed downstairs to Ashley Smith's office. I knocked on the door and it took her a minute this time to answer the door. Hello Kaitlyn, we will not be in my office today instead we will be going to a training room which is where we will test your powers Ashley said nicely. She told me that the training room was on the third floor. "Are you okay Kaitlyn" Ashley asked. "I'm fine but why did you ask" I replied. "You just seem like you're upset about something" she responded. I'm not upset about anything I'm just um sleepy I stammered. "Ok then I will not ask again" she said in annoyed tone. We turned to our right we saw a sign that said Training Room. As we entered the room she told me to sit down against the wall. "Okay Kaitlyn I want you to use your lightning powers and shoot this target" Ashley said firmly. I can do this and I'm pretty sure this is going to be easy I thought. "GO" Ashley shouted. I stretched my arm out and a bolt of lightning shot out of my hand. The lightning bolt hit the center of the target. "Nice job Kaitlyn" Ashley said happily. "Wow it's crazy what I can do now" I said surprised. "I guess you are ready to survive school tomorrow and leave the hospital" Ashley said excitedly. "Yah I guess I am" I said happily. "Bye" Ashley said waving. "Bye" I replied with a nice wave. I went into an elevator and pressed floor 1. I went back to 215. Mom and Dad were waiting outside of the room. "How did it go my Superhero" Mom asked in a happy mood. "It was so fun and now I can control my powers so I don't need to worry about when I go to school tomorrow" I replied happily. "We are so proud of you Kaitlyn and now we don't need to worry about you hurting anybody" Dad said proudly. "Thank's Mom and Dad" I responded. "Now you need to eat some lunch miss" Mom said in a firm voice. 2 minutes later we came back upstairs from the food room with Lunch in our hands. The day went by pretty fast so the next thing I knew it was 7:30 p.m. I went to bed an hour later.
