Changes on board are card advantage? Yes. The gain or loss of permanants are shifts in card advantage.
The simplest form being tokens.
When examining "board advantage" you look at what cards you lose to either give you more or take from your opponent.
When i cast Dragon Fodder (fooder) i give up one card in hand to add two cards on my field. So its a one-for-two. Simple board advantage. This is a change in my hand that changes my board. It generates cards on my field, therefore gives me advantage.
Whenever you block a 4/4 trample rhino with two 2/2 knights, you lose both knights and they lose the rhino. This changes the field a two-for-one.
Everyone plays board advantage theory without noticing it. I really have very little to say about it. The theory is there, and you will play it.
"Can i stand to lose this to block that?" Or "will he block this to death or chump block it?"
Board theory is simple and i feel as if i would be doing my great massive *checks* one reader
An injustice by trying to explain it further.
