Your life has become a living hell, put it that way. That was the only way you could easily explain this situation, like, honestly.
Every day you were trained in some way, Yuma would fight you, force you to exercise intensely, heck, she made you climb a chunk of mountain!
You just wanted pagan to get back soon enough, only one more day...
You lay in your cot, your arms and legs aching with absolute pain, you were so done. At least the bruises on your face had healed, but still.
But you knew you were getting stronger for sure, but in the end you just wanted to play music and rest, and the food here was terrible! You just... Didn't want to be here.
It was the final day and Yuma had come to drag you out of bed again, you stood up like a zombie and looked to her, nodding and following her.
"Today I will test your endurance so far. I will see how far you have come."
She flashed you a smile. "Don't die."
You didn't like that at all.You entered the same training room as the first day, and before you could even do anything a swift punch hit you right on the head and you were thrown to the ground- but you reacted, you screamed at her, causing her to back up in an instant out of slight shock, you took that chance to jump up and tackle her, but she didn't hit the ground- she just stood there.
She kicked you roundhouse style right in the side and you stumbled backwards, coughing from the pain, it felt like something broke- but you were probably just being a wuss, as she would say.
You managed to dodge a hit and swoop around her, you jumped onto her back and started to choke her angrily, she coughed for a bit- she couldn't get you off. Bit by bit her strength weakened and when you realized you were going too far- you let go, she launched you off of her body and she slammed you into the wall.
"I-idiot. You had me." She coughed, regaining her breath in a rage and charging at you all over again.
"I didn't want to hurt you!" You jumped up and dashed to the side, only for her to grab you and pull you into a headlock.
"Don't want to hurt me?! Grow up you fool! I'll crush you and end it there if you can't hold out!" She yelled, choking you out- and finally, it went black.
You had no idea how long you were out, but all of a sudden you were awake, and you weren't in a comfortable position. You were laying on the floor of the room and Yuma was staring down at you.
"So you finally wake up. I was sure you were dead with your level of resistance." She mocked, but then helped you up.
"...at least you know how to fight now though." She mumbled as she led you out of the room.
"Pagan should be here any time, matter of fact, listen, you can hear the helicopter in the distance."The two of you walked out to the landing strip and watched as the helicopter descended, landed and then the door opened.
Pagan min was back, and oh, you were glad as hell about that. He jumped out of the helicopter and the snow practically ate his feet, but amazingly he ignored it just fine.
"Waiting for me I see? Well! Did you two enjoy yourselves? Surely Yuma didn't beat you around too much, did she?" He walked up to you and gave you a light hug, then retracted, you were almost glad that he did, considering the way things went with Yuma here.
But you didn't feel like ratting her out, so you just decided to say something else. "It was cool." You coughed, and Yuma gave you a glare. "Good good, now, Yuma, please tell me you didn't try and train her? The girl looks very drained! I've told you quite a few times not to do that, and yet there you go again!" Pagan looked to Yuma who just snorted.
"She was weak and needed toughening up, she's alive, be happy." Yuma stormed ahead of him and into the helicopter, pagan taking a second to look at you before signalling you to enter. Wait- Yuma was coming with you and pagan? Ah shit.
You got into the helicopter with the two of them and it set off, you were glad you were going back to the palace, fuck this snowy place.
"Yuma, how hard did you work her exactly?" Pagan asked, Yuma giving a sly smile to him like the snake she was. "As hard as they could take. Why? Does that upset you?"
Pagan turned to you and let out a sigh, shrugging. "I am so sorry about this- that was not meant to happen, she doesn't usually do that to people- but you're alive, I appreciate that bit."
You just nodded as the helicopter continued its journey, and some time later you were back on solid ground in the area. Oh boy, were you ever happy to get your room back.
"You go have your fun, (name)! I shall finish up my work in the meantime." Pagan plain old waved you off and then walked into the palace, leaving you and Yuma to stand there.
"so. Tell me this, kid."
Yuma started to speak, and you looked back at her, waiting to see what she wanted.
"You said you make music, impress me." She ordered. You nodded, the two of you walking into then palace just as pagan had and into the room with the grand piano- and oh you were pumped for this. You ended up playing quite the song, you went as epic as possible for song choice and made sure that it ended on a strong note, and when all was said and done, Yuma looked to you with an unreadable expression.
"Good enough." She mumbled, storming off.
Things were going to be a bit more interesting with her here...
