"Hi"
"Hey'' you said back, you couldn't believe that Alfred Foster Jones was talking to you! I mean its kinda stalker-ish that you know his whole name but, you have had a crush on him since the beginning of freshman year and now both of you are in you last year of high school.
"Umm are you ok? Should I come back later?''
You snap out of you trance to see a very concerned looking Alfred looking at you.
"Oh I'm so sorry . What do you need?''
"Oh I was wondering if you'd go to the military ball with me tomorrow? I know its short notice but, I didn't wanna go alone. Do you wanna go?''

Thats how you felt when you were finally able to realize that he asked you to the ball.
"Yes! I uhh.. mean sure I'd love to. What time does it start?''
"Great! It starts at 8:00 but Im going to pick you up at 7:45 so we can be there beforehand. Sounds good?''
You nodded unable to process the words you wanted to say out of your mouth.
~ Time Skip back to your room~
"omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg!!!!!!!!! He asked me to the military ball!!!!" you shouted into your pillow as you face planted in bed. You couldn't believe it! Maybe he finally noticed that you loved him. Yes 'love'
is the word that described the feeling you had for him.
But all thoughts aside.. what were you going to wear?
At that moment your phone went off
'Wear a white dress'
Holy cheesecake he has your number too?!
You didn't know if you should be very happy or very creeped out but you didn't mind. You sighed happily to yourself as you drifted to sleep without even showering. You were simply to happy for all that.

The whole day at school was a blur for you. You were either drifted off or just daydreaming about what could happen. Ah how sweet was it all, just thinking..*RINGGGGG* . The bell that signaled the end of the day rung as your peers rushed about you trying to go home and prepare for tonight. Just like you.

You got home around 5:00 because you needed
Lipstick ( what if you got kissed you wanted to mark your territory)
Mascara ( dem eyelashes thooo!!)
A necklace that matched your dress...(and then some earrings...and then you couldn't help it so you got the jewelry set)
As soon as you got in the house you immediately took a well needed shower, then proceed to do your hair and makeup.
Which in fact took like 3 hours because you were so happy then lazy then you quit, then started again.
But in the end you and your parents loved the outcome..well your mom loved the way your makeup looked so natural...you dad..not so much. He wanted to meet the joker who had captured his baby girl's heart without so much of lifting a finger.
You on the other hand were estatic! You were the date of Alfred and you felt content.
Although when the doorbell rang you felt like fainting. Your mom opened the door with your dad following closely behind.
"Hi, is this Y/N's house?"
"Yes it is, you must be Alfred? Come in please." you mom said cheerfully. Your dad sighed in defeat, he just met the kid and Alfred seemed so polite and charming he couldn't want to not let you go.
"Hi'' you said as you walked towards him.
" You look great'' Alfred said as he took you in
He was right the way you dress clung to you petite frame (sorry if you are tall I love tall people!!❤️)
And you bobbed hairstyle framed you face perfectly ( again sorry I just picture reader-chan with a bob)
You smiled and gave him a polite little 'thank you'
"Well aren't you two a pair?" your mom said with a grin
You blushed.
It was true you two looked perfect. With Alfred's baby blue eyes, blond hair, and signature grin plastered on his face. And you with your h/c h/l hair, e/c eyes , and your smile was enough to light a room up.
"Thank you ma'am but we should be going." Stated Alfred
You hugged and kissed your mom and dad and told them you'd be back at 12:00. With that you and Alfred left.

" 'ello love" Greeted Arthur as you walked into the massive ballroom.
" Hi Arthur I thought you weren't into these kind of things?"
You could've sworn you heard him declare he'd never step foot into the same room as that 'frog' Francis, never in a million years.
"
"I'm afraid Ive had a change in heart" as Alice walked up to him. Ahh Alice convinced him to come...how nice!
"Hello Y/N! You look so gorgeous and you came with dear Alfred! oh how lovely!!'' she exclaimed
You giggled. She was simply too cute!
"Aww thank you I love you dress by the way and I find it interesting you got Arthur to come."
"It was quite the struggle to get him give in but he loves me too much not to come and besides Francis is at the hospital while they pump that poor idiot Gilbert's stomach. He was drinking way too much last night because he was so 'bored'."
You rolled you eyes. Typical Gil.
At that moment you heard that the ball was officially starting and it was time for you to be seated.

As Alfred walked you to your porch you smiled just thinking about how perfect this night was and how it couldn't get better. (Hehehehe watch it babe it gets better!>×<)
Just as the thought crossed your mind something soft and warm brushed against your lips.

Is all you heard because the thought of him liking you made you light headed.
And that is what caused you to do this.
Stand up on your tippy toes and press your lips to the dumbstruck boy in front of you.
"Alfred I like you too" you giggled.
"Really?!?.. I mean umm so you'll be my girlfriend right? Please?"
"I'd love to" you replied casually as you walked in the house.
"Bye Alfie" you said as you closed the door.
You swore you heard someone yell 'yes' but maybe it was you imagination...
