Chapter 1

-Lane P.O.V-

I sang into the microphone.Freddy was glitching up again."Well boys and girls!How about we party and eat some pizza!Haha!We're gonna have so much fun!But make sure to stay close to your parents!And be a good kid!"

I walked off the stage.I walked backstage and took off the make up and Freddy costume.

I sigh and walk to a table.Humming Lazaretto by Jack White.I had my earphones.

I felt a hand on my back and I yelped,jumping.I pulled out an earbud."Dont scare me!"I say.I looked and saw that I split someone's drink."Im so sorry!I'll get you a refill!What was the drink?"

I saw a guy with brown hair."Hey sorry for scaring you.I just wanted to introduce myself.Im the new day shift security guard,Vincent."

I nod.He followed me to the soda machine and back.

"Im Lane.I work as an animatronic,busboy,and waiter.I would have taken night gaurd and day shift security guard too...But well...You took day shift.But I don't want night shift.Its scary here at night."

Vincent smiled."I could protect you~"

I blushed."Shut up!"I say.

I walked over to pirates cove.Did I forget to mention that I also worked part time job as the janitor too?Well I do.

I closed the curtains,people always get in here their not supposed to be.

"Go do your damn job!"I say.Vincrnt was staring at something."I slap his face a little."Go protect people and leave me alone!"

He nods and walks away.I sigh and shake my head.My alarm went off.Break time!

I walk outside and stand outback.

I grabbed my pack of cigarettes,I don't usually smoke.But when Im having days like these...

I light the cigarette and take in a deep drag."Hey"

I let out the smoke."What?"I ask.Its Vincent again.

My ears were twitching."Are those real ears?And is that tail real?"

I nod."Its as real as my flesh."

I felt a hand on my head."Little kitty"

He scratched my head,making me purr.

He took my cigarette.

-a few weeks later-

I was walking around the building.A parent told me they wouldn't find their kid.I told them to tell the security guard but they said they couldn't find him either.

I heard laughter.I walked towards it."Hey!Kids!Come on!Your parents are worried sick about yo-"I stopped.

There was blood everywhere.Five bodies on the ground.And Vincent in the middle holding a knife.I felt tears roll down my face.

"Lane...!"He walked over to me."This is where those kids were...Y-You killed them...All of them...?"

Vincent grabbed my wrist and pulled me into an embrace."W-What are you doing...?"

"You idiot.....Its a hug..."He whispered while his face was buried in my hair."Your insane...."

He looked at me like his heart got broke."I...I like insane..."I hug him back.

He pulls me into a kiss."Why are you kissing me..?"

"Because-"He got cut off.There was a rustling.We walked out of the room.He held my hand...Vincent's hand was surprisingly warm.
