"What is going on?" Said Ava. Why won't you answer me Blaire, I'm trying to help you." Blaire replied "I know it seems bad, but we will be fine. Whatever you find out I want you to know that I wanted to tell you, and that I didn't mean for you to find out this way. Just trust me, or else we won't have any chance of getting home."

Blaire was sitting in her room listening to music trying to drown out the sound of her parents constant arguing, normally Blaire would just climb out her window and ride her bike down to her friend Ava's house. Ava's mom didn't mind, being that Ava's father left them when she was a baby, and they liked her being there. Blaire was there so often, the neighbors mistook it as her house.

"Get out of this house!" Said Blaire's mother to her father. "Fine." he replied. "But good luck raising Blaire. If she asks where I am, just say someplace with no regrets."
Blaire sat on her bed with gentle tears drifting down her face. She thought of the worst even though now was nothing compared to what she was thinking about. What was going to happen to their family? How much worse was it going to get?
That's it.
"I don't care anyone more" she said to herself. "If they don't want me, I don't want them. I might as well just leave."
Blaire was confident that she would run away into the woods and wouldn't think otherwise. Without her mom noticing she climbed out her window and rode her bike up to Ava's house.
Blaire told Ava that she was running away, and that nothing would convince her to stay. "I'm coming with you." Said Ava. "
"What? No way. I'm not dragging you into this." Replied Blaire.
She couldn't stop Ava from joining her, so Blaire decided to just leave it be.

The two girls headed for the forest entrance that was by Ava's mailbox. "Do exactly know where we are going?" Said Ava. "Somewhere I went before I met you. Before any of this happened. "What do you mean?"     "Uh, Blaire, there's a guy behind you........

A little while later
"What happened? My head is pounding." Ava said.
"I think I might know, but not enough to be sure." Said Blaire.
"We are in a mysterious house, with ropes around us, and no idea how we got here. How do suppose that you know what happened? What is going on?" Said Ava. Why won't you answer me Blaire, I'm trying to help you." She told Blaire.
"I know it seems bad, but we will be fine. Whatever you find out I want you to know that I wanted to tell you, and that I didn't mean for you to find out this way. Just trust me, or else we won't have any chance of getting home." Blaire said.
"Ok look, you see that guy over there... Um, well, I think that, uh, he might be your father. I'm not sure but maybe." Blaire said

"If he finds out that you are his daughter, he will never let you go. I'll tell him I'm his daughter, then you can go home." Blaire told Ava.
"What! He's my father. How do you know that? I don't want to leave without you!" Ava yelled to Blaire.
The man walked in and spoke. "Hello girls. Let me go straight to the point. My ex was a bit of a wacko, and she decided to kick me to the curb after our beautiful daughter was born. Now I need one of you to kindly be my daughter. You look like you would be the same age that my little Ava would be." The man told them.
Blaire looked at him and said "My name is Ava, and I think that you're my fathe- Ava nudged Blaire trying to get her to shut up but she continued. "I think that you're my father, and I will stay here with you. I've wanted to know who my father was my whole life. I'm so glad I found you."

The man fell to the floor with tears running down his face. Blaire quickly grabbed the pocketknife in his pocket and cut them free. The girls attempted to run out the door. It was locked, but Ava unlocked it and the ran out.
Unfortunately,
The man grabbed Blaire and pulled her back in. Ava kept running not knowing that Blaire wasn't behind her. As Ava turned back she didn't see Blaire. She had no choice but to keep running.

When she finally found her way back she told her mom, Blaire's mom, and the police. Reports were put out to help find Blaire, but they had no luck.

3 years later
Blaire was never found. They had a funeral service for her and everyone in the neighbourhood showed up, including her entire family.
Although Blaire was gone, 1 years after she went missing Ava kept going to the house where Blaire and her got kidnapped. Hoping that Blaire would return, one day Ava stood outside the house screaming, and yelling Blaire's name. She broke into tears, and fell to her knees.
She looked up because she heard footsteps. Ava went from sadness to hope when she saw that man slowly walk towards her.

"Where is she?" Ava asked the man.
"Where's who? Blaire? The one who claimed to be my daughter? I don't know where she is. I released her 6 months after you left. Did she not come back?" The man said to Ava.
"No she didn't, and how do you know her name is Blaire?" She asked him.
"I knew it wasn't her from the moment she said that she was my daughter, but that didn't matter. I've  been keeping tabs on you since the day I had to leave."
"I know you are my daughter, and I'm not letting you go this time."
