Kidnapped, Again... Chapter 7

"Sapphire!!!!!" Ace,Light and Wind cried in unison.
They heard the unmistakable muffled scream of Sapphire.
"I'm coming for you!" Wind cried, his scream echoing into the dark night sky.
"The pups!" Light cried. She raced up to the den. "They're all safe but they look shaken and distraught."
"Oh my pups! Thank goodness you are safe!" Wind cried.
"All wolves meet, NOW" Ace called to his pack. "We will not rest till we find my daughter, my pup. Shadow, go with Lord, Cry and Bracken. Follow the light path until you get to the borders, Noah go with Bark, Tree and..." He hesitated to pick.
"I'll go." Fallen declared boldly.
There was a wave of whispers "he's a hunter." "He's weak" "he doesn't deserve it."
"I'll go." Fallen repeated.
Ace hesitated before nodding
. "You know her sent best Fallen. You have spent much time with her."
"Thank you sir." He replied.
"Okay Noah lead your patrol near the borders but not trespassing any of them." Ace told Noah.
Noah nodded importantly.
"I will ask all mothers and 'retired' mothers to protect all the pups. We have 10 in total and I don't want to lose any of them." Ace commanded. All the mothers gathered round and came up with a plan. Not a wolf in camp was sitting doing nothing. Some were working on reinforcements for the dens and the bracken around the camp itself.
