"I love her," Zayn says immediately.

"I do too Zayn," Louis smiles at him. "She's perfect."

"We can get her into school right away," Zayn continues. "Call Harry and Niall and see where they have Liam in school."

"Babe, let's get her," Louis smiles at his husband.

"Okay," they stand and walk into the hall in search for Miss Sally and the girl. They find them in the next room over, sitting and talking on a couch. When the older woman sees them she stands and exits the room so they can talk. Each boy sits on a different side of Beckett so they have her attention. "Beckett we have a question to ask you."

"We were wondering if you wanted to come home with us and we'll be your daddies," Louis smiles at her.

Beckett gasps and nods her head excitedly. "Yes please!"

"Okay," Zayn smiles at her. "Why don't you take papa to help you pack your things while I talk to Miss Sally."

She nods and scoots her bum to the edge of the couch then jumps off. Miss Sally enters just as Louis stand and grabs Beckett's tiny hand.

"I must tell you that she doesn't have a lot. All the little girls share clothes so she has maybe a pair of pajamas and some knickers," she gives them a sad look.

"So she has nothing?" Zayn stands, raising an eyebrow.

"She has a teddy and a blanket she came with, but we don't have the funds to dress each child with their own wardrobe," she explains with a sad sigh. "We wash the clothes and stick them in the closet for them all to use."

"That's alright," Louis jumps in. "We can even leave those here if you need them. We were planning on getting her a new wardrobe anyway."

"That would be much appreciated," she smiles sadly. "I am sorry."

"That's alright," Zayn says as Louis and Beckett leave. Zayn follows Miss Sally to a small office and begins the paper works while Louis helps Beckett gather her things.

"This is my teddy," she shows her new papa a raggedy old teddy with some of the stuffing falling out. "And my blankey."

The once nice fleece blanket is now dull and knotted. Louis' heart reaches out for his new daughter, and he wants to buy her everything in the world.

"Those are very nice," Louis says softly. "But it looks like you could use some new ones."

"Yeah," she sighs, looking at the raggedy blanket in her hand.

"Don't you worry baby," Louis bends down to her height. "If you want to keep those you can, I'm just saying that we're gonna get you anything you want."

"Really?" she looks at him hopeful. No one has ever lied to her so she has no reason to not believe him.

"Of course baby girl," Louis says and she blushes at the name.

Downstairs, Zayn has finished signing the adoption papers and is waiting for the necessary forms to change her name. Once everything is signed he waits for Miss Sally to print him a copy.

"Alright," Miss Sally hands him a folder. "In here is her birth certificate, social security card, any medical papers she came with and other things that have happened while she was here. There is also a copy of her name change papers, I'll get them into the system and they'll be set with the country."

"Perfect," Zayn says, shuffling through the papers before looking up at her. "Is there anything else I need to know or do for this to be final or before we take her home?"

"No," Miss Sally shakes her head. "Everything is final. I'll call you if there are any problems but that hardly ever happens, we've a tight system."

"Wonderful," Zayn stands and the woman does as well. They shake hands, "Thank you so much."

"I'm glad to help you,"  they walk out of the room. "Beckett is a bright girl. She has a very bubbly personality and a great imagination. I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like her."

"She's quite brilliant," Zayn says with a smile as Louis and Beckett come into view. Louis is carrying a worn out blanket and Beckett is carrying a beat up teddy. Louis shoots Zayn a sad smile when they reach the two standing side by side.

"Good bye Beckett," Miss Sally bends down and hugs the child lightly. "Have a good life, and listen to your daddies."

"Okay," she smiles at the lady pulling away quickly from the hug. "See you later."

Zayn grabs her hand and they all walk out of the house and to the car for the last time. Zayn unlocks it and helps Beckett into her car seat while Louis takes the passenger seat.

"Is this mine?" Beckett asks, rubbing her hands over the hot pink fabric of the toddler seat while Zayn buckles up the straps across her chest and latches them down at the crotch.

"Absolutely baby," Zayn smiles at her and pulls away, shutting the door.

"Where did he go?" Beckett asks her papa.

"He's getting in here," Louis chuckles pointing to the driver's side door that is opening. Zayn climbs in and starts the car, beginning the drive to their home. "Okay love, do you remember when I told you we would get you stuff?"

Beckett nods to her papa and he continues. "Well we need to get you some new clothes and stuff like that, so do you want to do that now? or do you want to go home and get settled then tomorrow we'll go shopping."

"Never been sh-shopping," Beckett tells him.

"Why don't we go home so you can see your room and the house," Zayn suggests. "Then if you're still up for it, we'll go shopping and get everything you need."

"Okay," Beckett says cheerfully, looking out the window as they drive. The car is silent for a moment before Louis speaks up again.

"Are you excited doll?"

"Yes very," Beckett says cheerfully, bouncing in her seat. "Th-thank you for taking me."

"Of course baby," Zayn smiles, glancing at her through the rearview mirror. "We love you."

Beckett feels something funny in her tummy from his words. She likes it, it feels warm and fuzzy, she's never felt this before.

"I feel funny," she says patting her tummy.

"What kind of funny?" Louis asks, looking back at her.

"In my tummy when daddy sayd th-that to me," Beckett answers.

"What?" Zayn asks. "I love you?"

"Yeah," Beckett says as she feels it again.

"How does it feel?" Louis asks with a smile.

"Fluffy and snuggly," Beckett answers with a giggle. "Never felt it before."

"That's love baby girl," Louis smiles at her sweetly.

"Love," she tests the word. It feels nice in her mouth and sounds good coming from her lips. "I like love."

"It's pretty wonderful," Louis sighs, glancing at his husband. "Has no one ever told you they love you?"

"I don't think so," Beckett shakes her head.

"That won't happen any more lovely," Louis reaches back and grabs her foot and gives it a shake. Beckett giggles wiggles her sneaker clad foot in her papa's hand.

"Okay, my loves," Zayn calls once the car is parked in the driveway. "We're home."
