Arial's POV
My head pounded more rapidly then the beat of my heart. Which was dangerous, considering that the human heart bet every 80 - 120 times per minutes. I was awake but I was still lying down, facing the edge of the bed and squinting at the newly founded light seeping through the bedroom windows. My body was soaked in agony, I felt terribly sore on my neck and forehead.
I tried to raise my right arm to rub it but something was countering me. It rested plainly on my hip, holding me back from any sudden movements. Determined to release myself from this 'something,' I turned around abruptly, and there he was. My expression instantly soured as I saw Xavier fast asleep in my own bed, partly naked.
Chills vibrated throughout my body as soon as I was out of his embrace. I feel ungracefully onto the floor, gaping tirelessly at him and at my opened shirt. I was in short-shorts and a loose white shirt, one I wore yesterday under my sweater. Whilst yawning he ran his hands through his dark hair. Xavier sat up, eclipsing everything with my disgusted expression. He sighed deeply.
''You feeling better?'' Xavier smiled crookedly and for a second, he sounded genuinely concerned.
''Excuse me? What do you think you're doing?!'' Despite his displaceable body and out-of-this world abs, he only wore boxers and that made me worry. He eyed me firmly, carefully choosing his future words.
''I can explain.'' Explain? I was in an unbutton shirt with nothing but a bra to cover my breasts, my pants were taken off me and my hair was a complete mess. There was absolutely nothing to explain.
''Did we do a-anything?'' I asked frightened. Deep down I already knew the answer. He shook his head.
''Of course not, I like women but I'm afraid, I'm not that low.'' He got out of bed, sitting on it's edge while facing me. He ran his hands through his face and up his hair. He looked distressed.
''You're lying.'' Every part of me was shaking, including my voice. I quickly got a robe from the bathroom before making an escape through the bedroom door. My throat was closing up and tears were begging to surface. If I wasn't quick enough, Xavier may have the chance to see me cry.
''Wait, Arial!'' Xavier ran after me, echoing my footsteps. Before I had any chances on making it to the stairs, he eagerly grabbed my wrist. I turned around, hitting him with my free hand and he grabbed that too. ''Stop and listen to me.'' I lowered my head, looking at our feet. ''I didn't do anything, I promise.'' I pushed my wrists towards his chest and they gave way. I once again tried to trot my way down the stairs but he blocked me, mirroring my every move.
''Move McQueen.'' I said simply, I was expressionless. He stood his ground.
''You were sick and I was ... Helping ... ''
''I don't believe you. Go away!'' With no anger to motivate me, I lightly pushed on his shoulder and he made way for me. Just as I was about to take my 5th step down the case, I heard the twins two unmistakeable voices.
''Hey! What's going on?'' I froze, every cell in my body had numbed, with my male disguise back inside my bedroom, I was fully exposed. They jogged up the stairs and towards me. I turned around, determined to make it back to my suite but as I did I bumped into a large, blonde male. My brother looked at me with dumbfounded eyes.
Crap.
Sorry I didn't post the whole chapter. I'm posting the next chapter up soon :)
