Chapter 4: Curbside

Hii! I haven't uploaded, in like, 75 years. My apologies. Filler chapter, but I promise to keep you all updated and to keep writing.

I shouldn't have agreed to walk home by myself. Why couldn't I just accept the ride Niall offered me?! I was so stupid.. I have been wandering around this stupid neighborhood for a stupid 45 minutes. It had gotten cold so quickly, and I knew around this time was when the creeps came out. I checked my phone, which was minutes away from dying, no calls. Zayn said he would call me too make sure I got home! Harry would always call me. His articulated words, making sure I got home safe, would send chills down my spine. Zayn's voice doesn't do that, he had a nice voice though.

My shaky fingers dialed Kami's number. "Hi Bitch! You have reached Kami and I cannot make the phone right now. Leave a message." Of course.

I then died Zayns. "Hello, this Is Zayn. Can't come to the phone. Please leave a message. Buh-bye!" Greatttttt. Just freaking great. I was stuck in a damn neighborhood at 3:00 in the morning and my best friend nor my boyfriend.. wait.. boyfriend? What was Zayn to me? Was he more than a fling? What did he think about us? Did I have feelings for him? Regardless, he was apathetic to the fact that I was sitting curbside alone.

Like my thought's had been answered, a White Range Rover pulled up to the curb. The passenger window winded down and I was greeted by Harry's and the bimbos faces. His face was painted stone cold but the blonde bimbo next to him, was painted with concern.

"Darling, it is like 20 degree's outside, come on get in the car! You must be lost! Sweetie we can help, can we Harry?" The bimbo said, while turning to Harry. Her voice was very high pitched but sweet none the less. Harry on the other hand didn't look sweet at all, he just looked flustered. I could read exactly what he was thinking on his faced. I could tell he thought I was ruining his date. He furrowed his eyebrows, like he was thinking really deeply.

"Get in" He mumbled softly. Should I get in? I didn't want to ruin his date. Did I also not seem to forget that he called me a whore this morning?!

"I- I- I just need to know how to get out of this neighborhood and I can make my way home. I don't want to be a bother." I stumbled. I heard Harry exhale deeply, that's how loud it was.

"Just keep walking straight and then turn left. Keep walking down that road, Saxton, I believe. Once you hit, erm... Kremer, I think, turn right. I think you can make it from there." Harry's deep voice said flatly.

"Thanks." I turned away from their car and started walking when I heard Harry say a little louder, "Just get in the car Ave." Reluctantly I turned around and opened the back seat door to Harry's car.

"Thanks" I mumbled as the car started moving.

The uncomfortable silence was broken by the bimbo talking about how she bought a brand new pair of jeans and that's when I tuned her out. She must have talked for about 5 minutes and I couldn't help but laugh at Harry's one word responses. They both turned and stared at me. Oops, I didn't mean to laugh out loud.

"Something funny?" Harry glared at me, venom in his voice.

Shit. "Uhm, nothing, just though about something funny." That seemed to be enough for the Bimbo as she continued to talk. Harry continued to glare, obviously knowing what I was laughing about. I looked away, obviously not wanting to have to deal with his blank stares.

We continued driving for a few moments, until he pulled up to my house.

Boy was I glad to be home.
