"You're my sunshine my only sunshine," the alarm woke me with the song on my grandmother. Who was taken too soon. I was a mere 12 years of age when she past away. I rushed down stairs to my mom making breakfast for me on my first day of my sophomore year. I'm 15 now and I changed since my break down. Losing my inspiration broke me. I was a girl who smiled on the outside, but slowly dying on the inside. One part being that the other part is about the separation anxiety from my boyfrind.
"Oh good you're all ready,"my mom looked at me with a smile. I tried to smile back, but my sadness took over.
"Yeah, just want to get my 10th grade year to start!" I was excited to back to school... Well, back to Dean and my friend Karlee.
"Uhm, okay you're acting strange," my mom said.
"What?"
"Well last year all you wanted to do is sleep for hours on end."
"I know but this year, I decided to be happy, and look on the bright side," That statement was very true, but it was hard to do. Mainly because, I haven't seen my boyfriend in a month and it's driving me insane.
" So, you get to see Dean and Karlee, are you excited."
"Yes I miss them,"
"Hmm... Good okay let's get going!" My mom got her keys and we ran out of the house. Even with the rushing in the morning... It didn't change my mind one bit. Karlee, Dean, and I are going to get to the bottom of this. Last year the principal had files in his office that had our names on them including my brother and four others. Anyway, we got to the school and I saw Dean waiting for me outside.
"Kacidy! I missed you so much" Dean hugged me close and tight."Kas you look... Amazing,"
"Thanks Honey, okay we need to call Karlee." I pulled out my phone and called her, but she saw us, and ran over. She hugged me and smiled.
"Okay do you remember the plan you two."
" Yes we do..." they said.
" Good."
" Kacidy what if it's nothing?" Karlee asked.
" Oh trust me it isn't I had an odd feeling from last year... And when I get those odd feelings I know for sure something's up.
" Okay I trust you..."
" Good"
