HERES CHAPTER 5

Hunters P.O.V

I cant believe my luck.

I thought that I wouldn't be able to find my mate after that night. Once I woke up this morning I went straight to his house. Sneaking up by his window I tried to get a quick glance at him.

To my disappointment he wasn't there.

I know what your thinking, Stalker much? I knew what I was doing was wrong, he was a mere human. But I couldn't help it  I just had to go see him.

And I knew what I was doing was wrong, but like all the kids say YOLO am I right?

(OMG felt like a total hipster saying that lmfao)

Frustrated I went back to the pack house, had some breakfast then got stolen by my best friend and Beta Jordan.

"Hey bro, we need to go to that book store by the pub after our rounds."

"Why?" I asked him, my tall tough looking friend I never pegged him as a reader.

"Its my dirty looking secret I don't plan to share with anyone." He told me, winking he then turned and went outside.

"You coming man!" he called out to me.

Running outside as well I shifted into my large black wolf, not worrying about my now shredded clothes, I looked up to meet Jordan's tan wolf.

Pushing my mussel at his side I indicated to him that we would start running.

Rounds were boring as usual, no rogue would dare enter our territory seeing as we were the biggest pack in the state.

Howling at Jordan I made him follow me back to where the pack house was. Shifting and getting dressed we both made our way into the house.

"Oh man I can't wait to go to the store then to the pub man." he sighed and looked off into the distance.

"Why do you want to go so bad, you weirdo."

"If you say how many good books there where there you would want to go all the time too, but its weird lately someone has been buying all the new books I want to read."

"...That sucks, I guess, but oh well I never pegged you as a reader."

"Oh I read alright," he said in a deep chuckle.

Not bothering to keep the conversation up any longer I just kept walking. Walking I kept my head held high, I was the Alpha and as I walked the path towards my car the people I passed bowed there heads in respect for me.

Smiling as we made it to the car me and my wolf couldn't help but feel proud to be Alpha of this pack, they were all so nice and respectful of our title.

Getting into the car I waited for Jordan to follow mw, sitting in the passenger seat we both buckled up. Pulling out of the gravel it didn't take us long to reach town.

"Book store or pub first?" I asked Jordan as I got out of the hummer.

"Book store!" he said enthusiastically.

Why was he so Happy! He is usually brooding and never really said anything, more like the strong and silent type. A good Beta.

Following him into this small book store I didn't bother reading the name of I turned around to find that Jordan had left me.

Where did that man go? About to call him on the pack link I suddenly felt a burst of sparks erupt from my chest. Looking down I saw none other that my mate.

Guess I didn't have to look for him after all.

"I-im so sorry," my mate said in a soft voice. Oh god how much i missed hi voice already.

"Hello there, im sorry no need to worried no damage done."

Standing there we just stared into each others eyes, kind of like we were lost in each others gaze.

To engrossed in what i was seeing in front of me i barley heard a large thud sound coming from behind me.

"What was that!" my mate asked concern clear in his voice.

"Nothing, love. Probably someone dropping a book."

"Love?" he began to ask, but then i heard a soft whimper and the loud thumps of two pairs of running.

"Nick!" my mate yelled, turning i saw a blonde haired boy running out of the store, followed by none other then my Beta.

DON'T FOLLOW! i heard him yell threw the pack link.

Wondering what was happening i stopped myself from answering i would find out later.

"I have to help him!" my mate yelled out as he started to move for the door. Gabbing his hand i stopped him.

"No need to wonder my B-, i-i mean my friend will handle him."

"Bu-"

"No its ok i know him well they will be fine."

Looking at me worried for a second he only nodded slightly.

"Ok, i guess ill talk to you and him later then."

Turning to leave i stopped him again.

"Wait! W-would you like to join me for a cup of coffee!" i asked him hopefully.

Looking up from the floor i saw a flash of  mental battles go through his head. And i almost knew that he was going to say no but he shocked me when i heard his sweet lips utter.

"Ok..."
