Brianne's POV
I entered the guest room which I assumed was decorated and prepared by Sarah. I rolled my eyes at her when I saw the nervousness in her eyes as I surveyed the room. "Do you like it?" She asked me while biting her nails, I pretended to look disappointed. "I just thought you still like lavender." I was about to answer her when she cut me off." I'm sorry, I assumed."
"Huh! Stop acting like that, silly! I love it!" A wide grin showed in her face as I show my excitement. She sits down at my bed and started helping me unpack my things. "So, uhmm..." I know she wanted to talk about something and I silently hope that she won't mention anything awkward for me to talk about. There are just things right now which I am not ready yet to reminisce.
"Ahm... okay, I'm going to wait until you are ready to talk about it then. So, how about we go eat downstairs since mom has finished cooking for us." She winked at me. I know she sensed my discomfort and I internally thanked her for understanding. I informed her I just have to change into something "homey" then I'll follow her downstairs for dinner.

I studied myself at the mirror and checked my lacey crop top and shorts. "Presentable as always, Brianne." I murmured to myself then headed downstairs. They are already waiting for me at the table when I arrived. The food smelled good and I was reminded that I never ate anything since I arrived. Aunt Elena is a good cook so I might as well forget about diet while staying in Storybrooke. I was then reminded of how happy we were during our childhood days. I have been wandering in the past and been spacing out for few minutes until someone pulled me back to reality.
"What do you think Bri?" Johan asked me and I grasp for answers since I wasn't paying attention to the conversation. "I'm sorry, I've been spacing out. What's your question again Johan?" I honestly admitted to them.
"I've been thinking if you want to watch our football game tomorrow." Johan answered me. "What he means is, if you want see his ass be beaten in football court tomorrow." Sarah answered for me. Everyone laugh at Johan's face when he heard what Sarah said. "Shut up Sarah and I'm only inviting Bri. You, on the other hand, not included." Johan countered. Sarah only laughed at him." Oh, I don't think Bri wants to be alone with you and your equally pathetic best friend."
"So, you're calling your former crush, pathetic? That is so lame. I can see you haven't moved on yet with your unreciprocated feelings with Drake!" Johan bit back to a red-faced Sarah. "I was 10 then! Innocent and stupid. So please, stop reminding me of those dreadful days. "Sarah defended to her mocking brother.
As much as I would like to defend my cousin Sarah, I am actually enjoying their childish fights. I giggled upon watching the two quarrel over almost everything. It seems like having a sibling is never a boring state. At least they have each other to annoy, right?
"So, what now Bri? Are you coming with us?" Johan asked me once again. "Are you kidding me? Meeting Sarah's first crush would be epic! "I joked. Both of them laughed. "I wouldn't really feel humiliated since I already got over him. So, both of you can make fun of me all you want, I don't really give a shit."Sarah confidently answered.
"I can't wait to see Drake's face when he meets you." Johan directed to me while rolling his eyebrows up and down. "Why?" I asked him sensing something with his statement. Sarah and Johan laughed again leaving me to wonder what's going on. Aunt Elena and her husband just looked at their kids with a warning look. "Well, the idiot believes that behind your masculine name is a football star with a long, big penis." Johan answered earning a disbelieving look from his parents. "I'm sorry. It's just funny, especially when he's been staring at Brianne's picture few years back."
I was not surprised though. I already used to people making the same mistakes. Mr. Petrakis, my Literature teacher during 6th grade mistakenly assigned me to the boy's side for seating arrangement. The whole class laughed at me realizing that I'm on the wrong side. It was a very hilarious experience but I didn't mind. I laughed with them seeing how Mr. Petrakis' jaw-dropped and almost choke his tongue upon the realization. That mistake actually earned me a spot in the popular group at school. I don't know why but people at school saw me as the Queen Bee. Maybe because of my weird name or maybe because I stopped dressing like a man.
