Freddy X Bonnie: Highschool Drama

Chapter 7: The cake is a lie, and so is 'Foxy'

(A/N: The picture may be really sketchy but im actually really proud of how it came out :3)

Freddy's POV: (again xD)

No sooner had we gotten our food and found a decent table had Chica dug into her meal. I swear, that girl could eat, yet she still somehow looked as thing as a twig. "Jeez Chi, you're supposed to eat your lunch, not inhale it!" Bonnie scoffed, a mouth full of muffin. "Shut up, im hungry." She replied, her voice muffled by the contents that filled her mouth. "Is, she always like this?" I questioned, pointing my plastic fork at the blonde in question. "Most days ah' suppose, some days, maybe even worse." Foxy answered, his face was flushed with pure honesty, I couldnt help but laugh. But, I wasn't laughing at Chica who was no heading to the canteen for seconds, nor was I at the red headed boys facial expressions. I was infact laughing at Bonnie, who was giving his younger cousin, a rather 'rude hand gesture.' I desperately wanted to turn around to see what was going on behind me, but at the same time I didn't want to miss the veiw that I already had. Bonnie looked so frustrated and flustered about the argument that him and his reletive were having over my head, that he looked like that of a seven year old kid in grade school, not a 14 year old guy in middle school. But I must have been watching Bonnie for a uncomfortable amount of time because I hadn't yet noticed that he was now staring directly at me, face tinted a slight pink.

"U-uh Fred, y-you okay?" He asked, voice squeaking slightly with embarrassment. I felt my face heat up slightly, as I stumbled through my thoughts for an answer. It seamed like my head and my mouth didn't want to co-operate, as I just sat there looking like a fish, opening and closing my mouth. Bonnie rolled his eyes and threw a breadstick at me. It hit me directly on my nose causing it to squeak. Everyone at the table went silent. I quickly covered my face to hide how embarrassed I was, but it was no use.

"Oh. Em. Gee" Chica squealed. "Your nose just squeaked!" "Thank you Chica, I think Im already aware of that." I grumbled, my voice altered due to my hand squashing my nose. Hold still for a second" Bonnie asked, leaning across the table. He cupped my face in his hands, as I sat there, dumbfounded. As his magenta eyes met with mine, Chica squealed again. I contained my wish to throw a salt shaker at her head as he grasped my hands in his own, lowering them from my face. I could feel the heat continue to flush my cheaks, not knowing what would happen next. Bonnie leaned in closer to me, causing me to fidget uncomfortably in my seat. Suddenly, Bonnie thrust his hand forward, poking my noise causing it to squeak again. I tried to cover my face again, but soon relized that he still had a firm grasp on my hands. He let out a small giggle, which then lead to a laugh, as Bonnie flopped ontop of the table. I sat there hiding my face yet again, begging in my head for someone to kill me now.

"Im so sorry dude, it's just," Bonnie uttered between laughs. "So funny!" "Awww, I thought you two were about to kiss" Chica complained. (A/N: Pretty sure you guys are all Chica at the moment xD) "W-WHAT!?" I screamed, blushing harder, as Bonnie choked on his drink and fell off his chair. "Chica leave the lads alone, Freddy's barely even touched his food yet, and I betcha he's as hungry as you were" Foxy complained, resting his hand upon Chica's. "Is that a challange?" She questioned, smiling. "I don't think he'd enjoy his food anyway Foxy, everyone knows the cake here is a lie." Bonnie muttered, picking himself back up off the floor, his face still slightly red from the previous conversation. "Uh, what do mean 'the cakes a lie'?" I questioned, confused by his statement. Bonnie just shook his head, as if dissapointed by my lack of knowledge. "The cafeteria 'cake'" he explained, making air quotations with his hands at the mention of the word cake. "Is literally just iced bread left in the freezer for a bit too long" I raised an eyebrow at him. "Don't believe me, check for yourself" he dared, crossing his arms and puffing out his chest in an attempt to look somewhat intimidating. I lifted my fork and cut into the slice, and sure enough, the inside was basically bread. "Wow, a school this big could atleast try to put some physical effort into the preparation and making of thier canteen food." I uttered, smirking at the horrible excuse for a slice of cake. "I told you. Total. Lie" Bonnie mawked, shoving a cookie in his mouth.

I sat there for a few minutes, lost in thought, when I soon remembered something from earlier on. "H-hey Foxy," I begun. "Aye lad?" He responnded in a questionative tone. "About earlier, in music class, how come the Techer called you 'Felix'?" Foxy just blinked at me and then let out a single sigh. "Foxy be but a nickname laddy, Felix be me real one. Did ya really think that my name was Foxy?" He answered. I sat there looking like a complete idiot. For whatever strange reason my pea-sized brain couldn't put one and one together to relize that Foxy is NOT a name that any sane parent would call their kid, well, unless they were an actual fox. I slapped my hand onto my face and thunked it on the table. "Im a dork" I murmered under my breath, head still rested on the table. "But you're our dork" Bonnie teased, jumping across the table hugging me tightly. I forgot that with him having rabbit ears, he could hear really well.

I blushed slightly at his presence. 'Wait, why am I blushing?' I thought. I don't know why, but I seamed to love his presence, I mean LIKE his presence, I mean.... I enjoyed it. "Thanks Bon," I smiled. He seamed to flince at the nickname I gave him, but he didn't say anything so I guessed he accepted it. The others soon joined in on the warm embrace, but I still wondered why I was blushing. I shook it of simply as just the shock of physical contact, and enjoyed the next two awkward minutes of the group hug between friends...
