Homophobia

Chapter 10

"Hello Harry. How are you today? And who is the short gentleman smoking on your front steps?"

"That's L-Louis." Harry murmurs. "And I have some news.."

Nick looks at Harry worriedly, "What's up?"

Harry takes a deep breath, "Niallcameovertheotherdayandwantedtogottoaparty,soisaidokay! buthewantedtoridewithourfriendjosh,andmademeridewithlouis-"

"Harry! Slow down lad."

Harry nods, "So I was riding with Louis, and we played 21 questions. And he asked why I was homophobic, and I told him."

"You did?" Nick is appalled

"Yeah. Niall doesn't even know why."

Harry continues to tell Nick what happened, and Nick is astounded. Especially with what happened this morning.

"So.. First off, go get Louis. I'd like to formally meet him."

Harry nods and goes out to get Louis.

"Hey Louis?"

"Yeah love?" Louis smiles as he sees the happy look on Harry's face.

This kid will fall for anything he says to himself.

"Nick- My therapist, wants to meet you."

Louis stares up at him, but shrugs, "Sure. Why not."

He flicks his cigarette away, pops a piece of gum into his mouth and stands.

Harry smiles and leads him into Harry's bedroom where Nick is waiting patiently.

Louis looks at him, and sits on the bed next to Harry.

Harry smiles at him, and Louis just looks at Nick.

"Hello Mr..."

Louis extends a hand, "Tomlinson. Louis Tomlinson."

Harry is surprised at how formal Louis sounds, and his smile grows.

"Mr. Tomlinson. How's your day going?"

Nick asks, and Louis smiles at Harry.

"It's going alright."

"Good, I'm going to get right to it then. You know of Harry's homophobia?"

Louis nods and Harry's cheeks grow red.

"You also know there is a large possibility he might be homosexual?"

Louis nods again, and Harry feels uneasy, but Nick knows what he's doing, so he let's it go.

"I can tell from your demeanor, that you don't do relationships, and that Harry is no exception." Nick turns to Harry, "I'd advise you don't trust him, unless you want meaningless flings."

Harry nods, he already knew that.

"Louis, considering Harry even let anyone besides Niall touch him is quite astounding, and that means you will most likely engage in more than one sexual act throughout your.. whatever this is."

Harry looks at Louis, and Louis is focusing on Nick.

He's good, Louis thinks, as he smiles to himself.

"Now, Harry, it is possible that with Louis you could grow more comfortable with your sexuality, and outgrow your homophobia. Understood?"

Harry nods, "Okay.."

"So. This situation is a terrible, but great one. Terrible because you are both using eachother, and Harry will probably fall in love. But great, because Louis will overcome whatever dependency issues he has going on, and Harry will become more comfortable with his sexuality."

Nick talks to them more about what could and couldn't happen, and by the end Louis and Harry are both well aware of the consequences and rewards.

"Well. I have a wedding to attend. So have a good day both of you." He hands Louis a card with his name and number on it and shakes his hand, "Nick Grimshaw. If you ever need help with Harry, call me or Niall. Good day."

And with that, Nick leaves.

Louis looks over at Harry, and Harry smiles.

"I want more." Harry says, and Louis looks at him confused.

"Of what you did earlier.. Can I do it to you?"
