The fact that I was even in this storyline felt awkward to me. I don't even know Seth, but the way he spoke of this storyline made me excited. This could be my big break. So for now, I just need to swallow my pride, and deal with this head on. It this backfires, I'll go with plan B. Simple as that.
I had gotten to my room, settled in and was in bed. Just as I was about to go turn off the light, there was a knock at my door.
"Are you kidding me right now?" I groan, rolling out of bed.
I sulked over to the door, opening it slowly.
"What do you want? You're interrupting my quiet time." I hiss, glaring at Seth.
"Could I stay here with you for a bit?" He asks, looking down the hallway.
"I guess? Why can't you stay in your room?" I ask.
"They told me they were full." He tells me quietly.
I snort, laughing at his statement.
"Full? I just got here without a reservation, and I got a room." I say, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Well, looks like this is as much your room as it is mine. Hi roomie!" He grins, shoving his way past me.
I sigh in frustration as I slam the door shut.
He took the bed by the wall as I turned off my light, and went to bed.
"You don't watch tv?" He asks.
"Already did. I was about to fall asleep, but someone decided to come knock like the police at my door." I growl.
Silence.
"You know, I'm happy we get to do this storyline together. I think it'll be great for both of our careers." He says, breaking the awkward silence that has filled the room.
"Well, I guess we'll see now, won't we?" I respond, closing my eyes.
"I'm excited for it." He says
My eyes shot open as he kept talking.
"Hey, Seth? If you keep talking, I'm going to make you sleep in the hallway." I say.
He said not another word, and I went to sleep peacefully that night.
I don't know what made him excited about this. I really don't. It's not like we're going to be sucking faces.
Unless that's what he's hiding from you, and so damn pumped about.
Just the thought of being anywhere near that man's lips made me cringe. I know where he's been, and I know what he's done. I don't want that.
I had a million thoughts racing through my head at that point, I missed Seth talking to me.
"Hello?" He calls out, waving a hand in front of my face.
I snapped out of my trance as I glare at him.
"What?" I growl.
"I was asking you if you were going to the gym before we left." He says.
"Not today. I'm still working on this ankle." I say, shooing him away.
He leaves me in silence, which finally makes me smile.
That man is so damn loud it's not even funny. First he won't shut up, then he kept rustling around with the covers on his bed, then the damn snoring that leaves that man's body sounds like a Yeti trying to crossbreed with Sasquatch.
I ran my fingers through my hair as I quickly gathered my things.
*RAW*
This was it. This was where I would make my main roster debut with Seth.
"You know what?" Seth pauses as he has one leg out of the ring.
The Authority had kicked him out of the ring for losing to Bray Wyatt the previous week.
"No. I am sick, and tired of the two of you. In my ear, breathing down my neck any chance you have. It makes me sick, and I am not putting up with it anymore. No one cares about The Authority anymore. You're afterthoughts now. And Stephanie, I would love nothing more than to yank you up by that birds nest of hair you've got, and toss you right into this LED board, but I'll save that for my brand new partner in crime. Ladies, and gentlemen. Without further adieu, my new business partner, former 2X NXT Women's Champion, Raven!"
My music had hit, and from the sound of the crowd, the roar told me that I wasn't going back to NXT any time soon. And I was okay with that.
Aw chit! What's cooking next?!!
