Chapter 3 - Nightclub Heist

A Few Weeks Later

Sly wandered into the hideout and passing a certain table he came to a stop, looking over his shoulder he stared at the Raccoon plush on the table. It sat leaning up to a small bag on the table, He thought for a moment and looked around the room. No sight of Bentley or Murray... If Sly remembers correctly they went out to get some lunch to bring back and knowing his friend Murray the order is either taking awhile to make or they're still deciding. Sly knew what he wanted, but he didn't go along for the fact that he knew it would take long. Not feeling up to it today no matter how much he loves his friends.

Walking up to the table he pulled up a chair and stared a bit longer at the plush before speaking up, feeling a bit silly to himself from talking to a toy. "Uh? Hey!... Hoshimi..." But there was no reply, letting out a sight Sly started to poke the toy.

"Hey! Hoshimi you there!?" Poking a little tougher a rustling could be heard from the toy till the familiar disguised voice came from it.

"Yes! Yes! I'm here! Stop hitting the toy you're making a horrible noise!"

"Oh. Sorry about that. Just wanted to know if you wanted to... Talk?" Sly felt weirdly nervous but he brushed it off just thinking it's weird to talk to a toy alone in a room.

"Yeah sure why not. I'm not doing anything. But where's Bentley and Murray? I don't hear them around. It's really quite in the background."

"Oh they've gone out to get food. But nevermind about that I want to know more about you" Sly leaned forward onto the table, smiling at the plush.

"Really? Well okay then. What do you want to know?"

Oh dear, Sly hasn't thought far enough for what the questions will me. "What's... You're favourite food?" A giggle came from the toy, god Sly wishes that he could hear her voice without the distorter.

"Okay don't think I'm weird but i really like porkchop on rice with BBQ sauce all over it. Idk why it's just yummy" Sly softly chuckled, He ended up having to tell her his favourite food and they ended up talking more. Finding out more about each other by the second, Hoshimi told Sly about her favorite things. Sly turned out liking quite a few things that she likes.

Gasping for breath after a joke she told a blush crossed his face when her voice came out saying "You have a really nice laugh~" clearing his throat he tried to calm his heated fur sheepishly thanking her for the complement. He never blushed. Her words made him blush. He's used to making the ladies blush but somehow he's falling for a girl who he has never met, her voice is a mystery and what she looks like. Going by how easily she charms men in person she must be beautiful. Everyday knowing her and speaking to her makes Sly want to meet her even more...

A Few Days Later

"Alright guys! Today's the day Hoshimi will help us in a heist and believe it or not, She found this one and sent me the pictures." Starting his slideshow. "There's a new nightclub owner called Bruce Doberman and he has quite the collection of stolen items, he used to be an artist here in France but his art wasn't exactly what people liked. He then wasn't heard from in years, thats when he started stealing. Now he's back in the limelight, with art everyone admires and now he has this big nightclub. The item that looks most interesting is this statue." He then brought up a picture of a golden statue of a female that looked like a goddess, parts of her have delicately placed jewels. The statue was a good target.

"I'm actually gonna be there" Sly blinked in shock at what Hoshimi said excitedly going up to the toy, alarming Bentley and Murray.

"Seriously!? We're gonna meet face to face!?" Stopping for a second Sly turned away from the toy, resting against the table. Folding his arms and played that reaction of smoothy. "I mean, This will be cool. Been looking forward to the day we can stop talking through a toy"
