"I am starting to get worried," Esme stated.

"They will be fine Esme, stop worrying."

"Okay, fine, but I am going to read. I don't care what you do. Tomorrow, since you have work, I am going to go shopping." Esme walked out of the room to go read, I had work to do anyway. Papers I needed to sign off for work.

"It's going to be a long day," I sighed.

So, while Esme read novels, I worked. I cleaned the house, signed off on papers, finally I decided I could go talk to Esme.

"Are you willing to talk now," I asked, peeking into our bedroom.

"No, I want to be alone," she said without looking up from her copy of Jane Eyre.

"Okay," I said shutting the door. The rest of the day went by slowly, night even slower. I watched outside the window, waiting for the sun to rise. I was silently hoping my beautiful love would be in a good mood the next day.
