Mackenzie's POV
I slowly walked into the mall, admiring the rock waterfall that is located at the entrance.
"I'm Hungry, lets go eat."
"Okie Dokie" Ella grabbed me by the arm and dragged me to the food court. She stopped for a second and looked around, then headed for Panda Express.
"Two bowls please." Ella stated, and started ordering for both of us. We always get the same thing.
"I'll have those good looking noodles over there." She pointed to the noodles we liked, we never knew what they were called. The server rolled her eyes from what Ella called the noodles. "Annddd some chicken." She also pointed to the mandarin chicken.
"Yummmmyy" I said while taking the food off the counter.
"That will be $16.78" The cashier named, Kristy said. Ella handed her the money, received her change, and headed to the middle of the food court and sat down.
We both groaned as we took our first bite into the food, as this was our favorite restaurant. It probably only took us about 10 minutes until we were done with the food. It was a silent 'feast'. There was no time to talk, the food was just too good! "Where to next?" Ella questioned me, and we both walked over to the trash can to throw away our bowls.
"Sea Life!" We both squealed.
"We're never to old for some fishies, and sharkies, and other marine animals." I said, looped my arm around Ella's and skipped toward the area we get our tickets.
. . . . . . .
"And this is why I love these darn sharks, so darn much!" I said and pointed to the sharks gliding across the glass ceiling. Also seeing the sea turtles, and groupers. Which me and Ella thought were just mean ol' grumpy fish.
"Yeah, I can't wait to go to collage, being with marine animals all the time will be amazing!" Ella replied and kept slowly walking threw the narrow glass tunnel. We passed many animals we both loved so much threw the tunnel, but we soon reached the end and into the gift shop. "I wanna a sharkie Ellie." I said with a pouty face. "Okay, fine." Ella said with a smile.
"OMG Mac look at this!" Ella said running over to two shark plushies, with 'best' 'friend' written on each of their stomachs. "Yes Ella, Yes, There isn't a choice, we are buying those." I said with a funny accent. I took the 'best' shark and started for the cash register, we both payed and exited the store. "Can we go to Forever 21 now? I wanna do some shopping." Ella said putting the shark in her bag so the head was still sticking out. I nodded my head and we walked across the mall, to the two floor store. "Some shirts here don't even make since." Ella said and looked at a shirt saying. 'Vanilla & Love' in a pair of lips. "Yeah, I know" I said slightly laughing.
About 20 minutes of browsing the store, and Ella buying a plain Blue and White T-Shirt, we exited the store and stood there. "Starbucks?" She subtly said. "Starbucks!" I said boldly and walked into the closest Starbucks.
"I'll have a Oreo Frappuccino." I said and backed away for Ella to say her order. "Hmm...Can I have a Chocolate Mocha?"
"Okay, and your names?" The barista asked.
"Mac and Ella." Ella replied, and handing him her gift card. We sent each other exited looks as we waited for our drinks, when we soon heard one of the best sounds ever. The barista calling our names. "Drinks for Mac and Ella!" The barista said, he gave Ella her drink, then mine, but held tight for a few minutes. "Do I know you?" He said with a questioning look."Umm..No..I don't believe so." I said and tried to grab my drink away from him.
"No, no, no. I think we've met." He said again, quickly going into a smile. Crap. Crap. CRAP. CRAP! No I'm not about to talk to him, not now, not today, not ever. He had a crush on on me in 11th grade. Yeah, I obviously rejected him. Ugh, he is so annoying. "Mac, you. You look great!" He said smiling even more. "Thanks, Now can I have my drink?" I said still trying to take my drink. He ignored me, and people ask why I hate him. "Where are you going for col-" He was interrupted by Ella. "Give her, her dang drink before I call your fricken boss, boy, try me." She said, looking like she was about to punch him. He quickly let go, and walked back to make more drinks with an embarrassed look on his face. Yeah, we left the mall after that not wanting to run into anyone else.
The whole car ride home we had music on, ultra loud, and we were singing to it, yes, if your wondering? We are amazing. I soon arrived at home at 10:30. We hugged, and she drove off. I opened the door realizing it wasn't locked, to see my mom and brother sitting on the couch watching Star Wars. "I'm home my family!" I said flipping off my white crocs. I tapped on my moms shoulder, and told her I was going upstairs for the night, she replied with a nod and a kiss on my forehead. I walked up my spiral staircase and turned into my room. I hung my bag on my hook, then sat down at my vanity table. I turned on my favorite 'popular music' radio on my phone, then started taking off my make up. I am a expert on that, so it didn't take me long, after that I put on my comfy PJ's and layed in my bed. I checked my phone as I always do to see if I had any notifications, I didn't. All I saw is my lockscreen of me and Tylar the time he was teaching my how to skateboard. I cried myself to sleep that night.
