I sighed as we pulled up to the hotel and I snuck justin inside with all my things in my hands and I groaned a bit after I got into my room next to theirs and I dropped my stuff down and looked around exhausted. I changed into my normal clothes and I walked out with my red wig on I was right I have multiples and the other one is currently soaking and I knocked on the door in a pair of jeans, a black t shirt and a black hoodie my gun hanging around my waist with a knife in its sheath around my right wrist.
“ok its me angel” I said sighing a bit everyone looked exhausted along with Kenny and I have my laptop with me. “I came to check in on everybody and to make sure its safe..” I said and they nodded at me and I walked over to the kitchen starting some coffee.
“are you staying in here tonight?” justin asked confused I nodded at him
“after earlier..its a safer bet I do..” I said and he nodded and looked so tired and I bit my lip a bit and looked down at the ground. “look…I need those letters…and I need to talk to justin and you guys tomorrow for more info…” I said softly justin nodded “look you want me to put you in a dreamless sleep?” I asked he looked at me warily. “I am not going to kill you okay…I am trying to help” I said and he looked at me then finally nodded “get into bed and ill do it after your comfortable” I said and he nodded and went into his room to change.
“you sure your able to help?” scooter asked I looked at him and smiled at him sweetly.
“yes..dont worry…I got the girl from earlier..” I said looking around the room for bugs of any kind and found two of them and I squished them repeatedly and found a few others easily…this girl is an amateur going against a master…great. “the leader will be harder to get to..but I can do it…worry about justin not me…” I said non chalantly.
“okay…” scooter said worried
“get to bed..ill be fine and justin will be safe..i promise” I said and they all agreed going to their rooms which are across the hall and next to justins. I have keys to all of them just in case something happens and things go bad.
“im ready..” justin said softly I heard it though and I got the bugs in his room, the bathroom, kitchen and living room. I looked at him laying in bed and wished I could join him..’wait no angel..you just met him along with the fact..he wouldn’t want you…you’re a killer’
“alright…now relax close your eyes and think of something..happy” I said and walked over to him slightly amused and he didn’t. “justin you need sleep..” I said sadly and he looked at me.
“did you enjoy killing her?” he asked and I looked at him shocked and hurt at the same time.
“no I didn’t..i hate doing it actually..but it’s a last resort trust me..if there was another way to keep you safe without killing anyone I would do it in a heartbeat…why?” I asked and he looked at me sadly and sighed a bit.
“do you go to church?” he asked softly and I smiled at him and sat on the side of his bed.
“yes I do actually…any chance I get…I ask for god to save me from my sins…and to help keep me sane with my job…im christian..and happy to be so..i pray all the time for the souls of the people I kill…or I hurt really badly..” I said looking down at him this seemed to help him a lot.
“whats your real name?” he asked and I cringed a bit I cant say my real name just in case.
“I cant tell you that justin..just call me angel…or death” I said shrugging looking at my hands “my real name is a dangerous thing to know..and I cant have you slip up when I am working on this case…it could end badly…really badly.” I said quietly
