Hermione's POV
A weekend without my husband and son... I've never felt so lonely. Why would he want a divorce? As I make my way through our house, the door bell rang.
Why would anyone come visit me? I open the door to see Cormac McLaggen.
"Hello, Hermione," his innocent smile is comforting.
"Hello, Cormac, how are you?" I pull him into a hug.
"I'm fine. Where's Draco? He said to come here when he got back," he looks inside. "It sounds quiet. Where's Scorp?"
I break into tears. "He wants a divorce." Cormac pulls me into another hug, running his fingers through my hair and rubbing his other hand on my lower back. "Why doesn't he want me anymore?" I cry on his shirt.
"It's his loss, Hermione. You're amazing and beautiful and if he can't see that, than he's a blind, old fart," his voice muffles in my hair.
I look up into his blue eyes. "Cormac..."
"Yes?" His eyes rake my face until they stop at my lips.
His lips come in contact with mine. Moving in sync, his soft lips massage mine and his hands come into my hair.
The kiss is getting heated, his hands going to my hips, pulling me closer to him. That was when I heard...
