Bo-Hee sat on the bleachers that overlooked the field. It was after school, but she didn't want to go home yet. It wasn't like she had anyone to nag her if she was late getting back home. Her parents and her older brother had left when she had started high school, but it was okay since Bo-Hee didn't really want to move to a new place. She lives in a small apartment by herself.

The reason she didn't go back wasn't because she didn't have to, but because she didn't really like spending a lot of time at home. It was that she didn't like it when she felt trapped inside, I guess.

As Bo-Hee sat there on the metal bleachers, little did she notice that the soccer team was heading out for their usual practice that they had about two to three times after school a week. She just sat there, zoned out, thinking of other things, not good things either.

Her friends had just ditched her, leaving her without friends. She didn't really know what she did to make them upset. They had ditched her because she wasn't who they wanted her to be. She didn't change into the person they expected her to be. They started hating her because she was different than them. She had interests in other things, she had always been nicer than them too, which annoyed them when they would start gossiping and she would change the topic.  Not that she knew any of that, though.

Time went on without Bo-Hee realizing. Soccer practice had already ended by the time she had snapped out of her daze. More specific, Park Jimin had caused her to snap out of her daze.

Park Jimin was one of the most popular, (and probably wealthy), guys at school. It was actually a little bit shocking to Bo-Hee that he had suddenly just started talking to her.

"Hey. Are you going to stay here all night or something?" He shouted up from the bottom of the bleachers after grabbing his bag off of one of the benches. He was holding a water bottle, taking a drink after shouting up to the girl sitting alone.

"Ah. Sorry." Bo-Hee stuttered, only since she hadn't even noticed that she wasn't alone until then. She hadn't even noticed the practice. She grabbed her backpack and started walking down, with Jimin waiting at the bottom. They quietly walked to the front of the school, where they both split ways. Jimin was walking to his car meanwhile, Bo-Hee was heading to the sidewalk just in front of the school that she was going to walk along to reach her apartment. She didn't own a car. Even if she wanted one, she couldn't really afford one anyways. She didn't mind walking or taking the bus or subway.

Pausing, Jimin had stopped just before getting into his car, watching Bo-Hee walk farther away. He didn't ever really notice Bo-Hee until a few weeks ago when she first started to show up on the bleachers during his practices. Being honest, it was his first time today to talk to her after his practice.

He pulled out of the parking lot and out onto the main street, passing Bo-Hee who seemed to be walking up to another person. He looked out his side mirror, looking back on Bo-Hee. It was starting to get darker out, so it was hard to tell who was now standing in front of her, but he could tell that once she fell to the ground what had happened. Jimin pulled over to the side of the road quickly, running over to the figure still standing, looking as though they were about to start kicking her. They were screaming cuss words and insults at the fallen girl who stared at the ground, trying to hold back the tears she felt burning behind her eyes.

Grabbing the man, Jimin proceeded to grab him by the collar of his shirt, punching him in the face. The man fell back, backing away, only to disappear a few moments later into the shadows.

"Are you okay?" Jimin turned to the girl, whom he still didn't know the name of. He reached out his hand, offering to help her stand back up off the ground. She took it.

Bo-Hee nodded. "I'm fine. Thanks." Her voice was quiet and she didn't dare look up at Jimin. She did feel embarrassment. It wasn't the first time that man had hurt her, but it was the first time anyone else was around to see it. Or stop it.

He grabbed her hand, leading her to his car, where he held open the door for her and returned to the other side of the car before getting in. "What's your name?" He said, looking forward at the road though they were still parked on the side of the road.

"Bo-Hee."

He responded, "Park Jimin. Nice to meet you."
