The Doctors word

Rose's POV: At this point I couldn't were I was all I know is that I felt everything pushing back. I was lied down in Caitlyn's back seat and she was flooring it to the hospital. she carried me in bridle style and I heard mumbling between her and another female voice. I fully was out conscious after someone else had taken me away.

I woke up feeling numb everywhere so I just lied there with no idea were I was. I looked around as much as I could. I was in a hospital room and no one was around. I slowly gained feeling and stood up wobbly determined to get out the door. I nurse rushed me in and sat me back in bed.

"Mrs. McCoy, take things slow you have been asleep for quite a while," she smiled seeming relieved of something. I didn't respond more as much of looked around more and noticed a clock saying 1:15pm. I thought to myself for how long I was asleep, a day at least. Caitlyn then walked through the door holding a Rose. it fell when she looked at me almost tearing.

"Caitlyn? what's wrong?" I said confused of her behavior. with no words she just hugged me and I instantly felt a sharp pain in my chest. I response I hissed in  pain pushing her away. She looked at the nurse.

"Its ok, she will feel pain for a few days. the surgery was a success though," the nurse said in response to Caitlyn's look tore her. my eyes grew huge as I peeked at my chest to see scars running along my chest from were they did the surgery.

"ok, Rose I know you probably have a few questions so let me try to explain all this. So after you had your hang out with your friends this kind girl took you to the hospital after eating some sand after a dive. well it seemed you lost consciousness from air loss and when we did and x-ray your left lung and most a little bit of your right were filled with sand. we couldn't save your left lung but your right is completely ok. you have been in here for two months because one you had slipped into a small coma and two you needed multiple surgery's to clean your lungs and the removal as well," The nurse had said rather fluently. I was in pure hake and had no idea as what to think. I began breathing harder and harder because of the fear and the monitor I was hooked up to as my vision started to fade again and I felt my breaths become hollow. the nurse layed me back down on the bed as I fell unconscious.

Caitlyn's POV: I was shaking in fear that she was hurt and ran to her side,

"Is she ok?!" I yelped. the nurse started clicking things and rushing around.

"Yes she is ok, she just cant startle herself like that until she gets used to the new lung," the nurse replied putting a mask over Roses face to help her breathe. I stayed by her side for three more hours waiting for her to awaken. Nothing had happened and I decided I need some rest.

(Time skip to three days later)

I was sitting in a chair by her bed looking at her body. ii felt her there almost as if she could here me. like she knew I was here. I held her hand close to my heart so she could feel the beating.

"I know you may not be able to hear me but Rose, may someday soon shall you awaken to find our hearts beating as one. May you awaken soon to find me waiting for you, may you waken to me holding you close, may you awaking me showing you that you are more important then anything in this world to me, or may you rest, may you heal, may you dream of  a day our hearts beat together, may you dream and keep your dreams with you when you wake up and rest well knowing that I will and have always loved you." I closed my eyes and as my hand was around hers I felt her heart beat syncretize with my own. I shed a single tear and smiled. I thought for a second and began to  sing a song to her to help her through to get back to the reality she knows.

"Heart beats fast, colors and promises, how to be brave, how can I love when I'm afraid to fall watching you stand alone, all of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow." Tears overwhelmed me and I could no longer finish I began to walk outthinking there was no hope for today.

Roses POV: "NO, don't leave please Caitlyn I love you!" my thought screamed echoing for almost eternity but not seeming to reach her.

"I can feel, and hear everything Caitlyn please!!" my thought echoed once more. then I shed a tear to reality thinking there was no hope any longer and began to hum the song she was singing. she sang back and I sat up. I opened my eyes looking at her beauty and she sat down hugging me lightly as we sang together.

"I will love you for a thousand years and ill love you for a thousand moreee," I was then fully conscious and tears between both of us reamed us together in a longer eternal time.

After two more days of waiting they released me to go home and there my parents were getting ready to leave so I had to stay with Caitlyn anyhow. Caitlyn was home schooled but I wasn't. I couldn't go back into school yet anyhow so I guess it never mattered to say. We were sitting on her bed in her bedroom and she was on her laptop doing school work and I was reading the list of rules for m to abide by while I recover.

"Ok, so no band, no gym, no heavy lifting, fighting, no jogging, speed walking either, dang. I can only eat certain foods, no swimming, no playing any sports, and no yelling, shouting, or stretching out my abs," I said almost out of breath reading that.  Caitlyn looked over at me and laughed abit.

"Calm down. they should add no talking with how quick your mouth goes," She laughed, "Also at least you get to hang with me," she said not picking her head up from her laptop for even a split second.

"Hahaha very funny, and yeah I guess your right," I said as I stared looking around through her stuff.

"you know I've never been in your house before," I continued looking through some of her art she has drawn.

"Yeah, well cool cool but try not to wreak my room  right away would ya?" she responded abit snappish annoyed that I wouldn't let her finish her work.

"ight no problem," I said smiling getting lost in some of the amazing works she has created. 

About roughly every five minutes Caitlyn had to tell me 'No, stop that. Doctors Word,"  because I was always either running, jumping, yelling or stretching because   I just don't know how to stay still.

"Doctors Word nothin!!" I said jumping around and then dropped to the floor wheezing. she put a breathing mask to me and I began to sit still from after that.

"Told ya, Doctors Word," Caitlyn mumbled under her breath.
