"You want to beat Donald Trump, you beat Donald Trump with the voters" -Ted Cruz

On Thursdays Republican debate, the candidates were asked the question: [review to video above]

In 30 seconds, can you definitively [confidently] say you will support the Republican nominee even if that nominee is Donald J. Trump?

The other Republican nominees have fully pledged their support to Donald Trump if he ultimately wins the republican nomination. Even though in previous statements each candidate said that they would not support him, but why the sudden change?
The other presidential candidates are fully endorsing Donald Trump and his demagogue ways.

Most candidates said that they would support him because of their similar political parties. However, Sen. Marco Rubio had this to say:

"I'll support Donald if he's the Republican nominee, and let me tell you why. Because the Democrats have two people left in the race. One of them is a socialist. America doesn't want to be a socialist country. If you want to be a socialist country, then move to a socialist country. The other one is under FBI investigation. And not only is she under FBI investigation, she lied to the families of the victims of Benghazi, and anyone who lies to the families of victims who lost their lives in the service of our country can never be the commander- in-chief of the United States. We must defeat Hillary Clinton".

However, his past arguments with Donald Trump have constantly contradicted this statement because Trump and Rubio have constantly not gotten along. Even Rubio had created the hashtag #nevertrump [and merchandise to go along with it] that has gotten national attention, even when he stated that he'd support Trump.

Today, yet once again, Marco Rubio has contradicted his statement at last nights debate:

"Donald Trump has been perhaps the most vulgar -- no I don't think perhaps -- the most vulgar person to ever aspire to the presidency in terms of how he's carried out his candidacy" (CNN).

I for one believe that a candidate should not be contradicting and changing his beliefs in the middle of their own candidacy- which Trump has admitted to doing, and Rubio is currently doing at the same time. [I was taught by my English teacher that in statements and articles such as these, I should not add the word 'I', however I feel it is necessary to get my opinion across.]

Nationally, Trump has the support of 41 percent of Republican voters, compared to 19 percent who back Cruz and 16 percent who back Rubio, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling data. As a result from Trumps Demagogue ways, he will continue to prevail and attract those with similar views, and eventually gaining so much of a lead over the other candidates that he will win the Republican nomination.

"U.S. Senators Marco Rubio of Florida and Ted Cruz of Texas and Ohio Governor John Kasich made the promise (to back Trump) despite efforts by party elders to build an anti-Trump coalition of Republican voters to pick someone other than the incendiary New York billionaire".

But where was Ben Carson at last nights debate?

According to his campaign website:

"I have decided not to attend the Fox News GOP Presidential Debate tomorrow night in Detroit. Even though I will not be in my hometown of Detroit on Thursday, I remain deeply committed to my home nation, America. I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening's Super Tuesday primary results. However, this grassroots movement on behalf of "We the People" will continue. Along with millions of patriots who have supported my campaign for President, I remain committed to Saving America for Future Generations. We must not depart from our goals to restore what God and our Founders intended for this exceptional nation".

I appreciate the support, financial and otherwise, from all corners of America. Gratefully, my campaign decisions are not constrained by finances; rather by what is in the best interests of the American people.

I will discuss more about the future of this movement during my speech on Friday at CPAC in Washington, D.C.

Earlier today, Carson spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference [which Trump skipped out last minute in order to campaign, but the CPAC is very beneficial to candidates] and stated that he was going to leave the campaign trail *http://bcove.me/qqnkhyd3*

"Even though I might be leaving the campaign trail, you know there's a lot of people who love me, they just won't vote for me, but I will still continue to be heavily involved in trying to save our nation".

I believed that former presidential candidate Ben Carson lacked knowledge and experience in foreign affairs and did lack in experience with the military [In my opinion, I believe that a president should have either political experience and/or military experience to get involved with foreign affairs] which did not get him the needed delegates and the needed amount of votes to get exposure for his campaign.

Questions for you to think about: *leave your answers in the comments*

1. Do you believe that a candidate should have military experience and/or political experience to run for any seat in government? Why or why not?

2. Should a demagogue be able to continue their campaign for president, even though it's risky to do so? Why or why not?
