Hunger games, Teams

I'm dying.

             Lex and Hayleigh looked over to the way me and Mc pointed. Lilly. It was Lilly. She wasn't being chased. She was chasing someone. That someone was my crush in High school. Aaron. I couldn't tell her to stop. She never liked Aaron, so it was no point.

          I then looked at Mc and hugged her. She knew I liked Aaron.  She told me "We're gonna  make it." I cried on her shoulder. Lex patted my back. I thought to my self "Why is this a thing? Why am I in it? WHY IS ANYONE IN IT?"

                I couldn't handle anything anymore. I wanted this 'game' to end. I don't know why people like to see people suffer in this globe, WHY?! I started to whisper a song called Goner, "I'm a goner, somebody catch my breath. I'm a goner, somebody catch my breath." 

     I guess Hayleigh heard me. She told me to "stop singing that! It's bad luck You never know! Our team could win!" She shook me. She has never been this mad before. I just yelled at her "LEAVE ME ALONE! I'VE SEEN SO MANY OF MY FRIENDS GET KILLED! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!" She looked at me with a guilty face.

          I jumped out of the tree with my pocket knife. Lex jumped down too. I said "GO BACK  UP! I NEED TO BE ALONE!" She tried to reply "Sky do -" But I ran away. I ran the direction where I heard the scream. I don't know what I was thinking. I tried to go back but I got lost. I fainted. When  I woke up I saw Lilly. She was one of my best friends. But she's savage. I go up and said "How come you didn't decide to kill me?" She said "Because you're one of my best friends. You've always been there for me. And hey! Have you seen Jerimiah?"

          I looked down, sad. I sighed and lied to her I said "Yes. But he was dead, no way my team could help him." She looked as if she was going to cry. She screamed. I said "Lilly, I'm so sorry." She looked mad, sad, and scared at the same time. But she also looked blood thirsty.  She took out a knife, a very sharp knife. Then she said "Sorry Skyler. Jerimiah was on my team, I have to win for him..." I took out my pocket knife and said "Lilly please don't!"

          She started walking towards me. I said "Lilly, Don't do this! He's in a better place!!" she shook her head and kept walking towards me. I threw the knife at her ankle and ran. I screamed so my teammates knew I was in danger. The knife didn't slow Lilly down. She threw the pocket knife she used on Aaron and threw it at my shoulder, I stumbled but kept running.

          I lost her. I was by  a tree bleeding. I took the knife out of my shoulder and cut my wrist a few times. I felt the blood get on my, it was a blood bath. I heard Mc say "Sky!? What've you done?!"

       I knew what I was doing.
