A rumbling engine interrupted the silence outside Eichen House and the Stilinskis turned to see Scott on his motorcycle.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Scott approached the father and son duo, looking sad.

"Because we wanted to avoid something like this." Sheriff Stilinski said awkwardly.

"It's only 72 hours." Stiles sighed, trying to reassure his best friend.

"This is the same place where Barrow came from." Scott looked anxiously up at Eichen, not wanting Stiles to risk his life inside. "The guy who had a tumor inside him filled with flies." He turned to the Sheriff. "You don't know everything yet."

"I know enough." The Sheriff shook his head, worry lines appearing on his forehead. "Nogitsunes, Kitsunes, Oni, or whatever they're called."

"Wow, that was actually all surprisingly correct." Stiles raised his eyebrows, looking astonished.

"Scott, I saw an MRI that looked exactly like my wife's." The Sheriff frowned, almost like it pained him to talk about Claudia. "And it terrifies me. I'm headed down to L.A. tomorrow to talk to a specialist."

"Then why are you putting him in here?" Scott said in surprise.

"He's not." Stiles defended. "It was my decision."

"Stiles, I can't help you if you're in here." Scott sadly looked at his best friend, trying to convince him to stay.

"And I can't hurt you." Stiles looked down, his eyes just as sad.

"Deaton's got some ideas. Argent's calling people. We're gonna find something." Scott was adamant to finding any sort of solution. "And if we can't--"

"If you can't..." Stiles cut him off, looking anxious. "Then you have to do something for me, okay? Make sure I never get out."

Scott's eyes widened at Stiles' request, and the Sheriff took the opportunity to lead Stiles inside the asylum. As Stiles crossed over the threshold, he had just inadvertently signed his own death certificate.

A loud gasp echoed through the hospital wing and a doctor turned around to see a catatonia patient sitting right up, looking very confused and dazed.

"Mr Gilbert." The doctor deadpanned, approaching the male. "Calm down."

"What?" Damien coughed, his breathing getting quicker. "You're telling me to calm down?"

"You've been in a state of catatonia." The doctor's face was blank. "You need to slow down."

"What year is it?" Damien's eyes were wild, unbelieving of the fact that he had been catatonic. "Tell me!"

"It's 2013." The doctor sighed, giving up on trying to restrain him.

"I've been catatonic for 70 years?!" Damien cried, looking terrified.

"Sure have." The doctor pursed his lips, wanting to get rid of the boy already. "I mean, after killing 700 people, you should really be in a jail cell."

"700 people?" Damien choked, tears coming to his eyes. "No way. I've never hurt anything in my life."

"Well, you did for 30 years." The doctor slightly smiled, happy to see the boy in agony. "And now it's time to interact with people."

"Shouldn't you be doing more tests instead of throwing me out there?" Damien's eyebrows raised.

"Nope." The doctor chuckled. "Come on, kiddo."
