pick of the dad and headmaster

As I stepped of the plane a gust of cold air hit my body. I collected my luggage and went out side where I called up a cab and told him where to go. It truly was beautiful here the blue skies and refreshing air. The beautiful hills and trees with bees buzzing around the flowers. I must have spaced out because then the cab driver was calling out to me
"miss, miss? We're here now. That will be $27 please" I handed him the money and told him to keep the change.
The building in front of me was grand. It had tall iron gates around the whole school with a huge old looking grey school behind them. The building had ivory growing up the sides and trees lining the gates joining onto a Forrest.
"here ate your bags miss" the cab driver said getting back into the car after getting out my bags for me I muttered a quiet Thankyou and he drove off. I went up to the gate after grabbing my bags and slowly pushed them open with caution. I walked up to the grand building and pushed open the large heavy wooden door. When I entered I realised that I was in the reception. I went up to the old man at the desk. He looked up at me
" excuse me miss but I think your a bit lost this is an all boys school" he said with a kind smile I smiled back gently
"oh no I'm not lost I'm the head masters daughter" I replied he gasped
" Anerhyst do you remember me?" he asked excitedly
" no sorry I don't" I said with an apologetic smile
" no no don't worry I'm greg your grandfather" he grinned I gasped
"grandpa? Oh my god I missed you I haven't seen you in ages!" we spent the next ten minuite talking and catching up
" right go find your farther he's in the main hall I will take your bags upstairs to your dorm room for you go on I bet he is dying to see you" and with that said he walked away. After he left I went to look for the hall. After a while of walking I came accross a room that had quiet murmuring and the sound of a movie playing on it. Whilst I was looking to see if it was the hall I completely missed the sign at the top of the door saying MAIN HALL well that solves my problem doesn't it. I took a deep breath and pushed open the door to see tones of boys all sat in rows staring at me in wonder. I took one look at the screen out of pure interest and said
" finding nemo........ Really" they all just continued to stare at me. wow am i really that strange looking?
"hey dad" i smiled he just continued to look at me then suddenly almost giving me a heart attack in the process along with everyone else in the room yelled
" Amethyst" then jumped off the stage and ran at me. i screamed and pegged it but he caught me easily and squeezed the life out of me in a bone crushing hug.
"amethyst i missed you so,so,so,so,sooooooooo much" he cried happliy i gave a small laugh
"i missed you too dad"
"why are you here so early?" he asked
"mum said that as soon as i shifted i had to move here" i replied wearily
"yeah but you havent............ OHHHHHHHH youve shifted?" he asked
"well never" i replied sarcasticly
"when did you shift?" he asked
"just today" i said he nodded
"are you in any pain?"he questioned
"nope not really just a little achey" i assured him
he turned to the boys and said
"well boys this is my youngest daughter Amethyst" he told them there was a chorus of 'heys' and 'hi's' this school is really going to be something else i can already tell.
