Cadi moved quietly around the room, pacing, an expression of fear and confusion plastered on her face. She was now tugging and twirling at the ends of beautiful blue-green hair, as it slowly came undone from the ponytail she had made before running back to her room. She sat at the edge of the bed, shaking, when a hand grabbed her shoulder violently taking her by surprise. She screamed a blood curling scream. A snicker arose from the creature. It was another tree spirit named Belen. She smiled an innocent grin. Belen had lime green hair that ended just below the ears. She was quite similar to Cadi; however ironic it is since she was Lillian’s sister. Belen was older by 2 years and was finishing up her senior year at TSB. The taller figure looked nothing like her sister with the short green hair and very noticeable silver piercing in her nose. Belen had always been quite known for her bipolar personality it scared most people. She gave Cadi a big hug wrapping the girl in her arms tightly.
“B...Belen…” The Changeling sputtered as her skin started fading from her tan color to all different shades of the rainbow. She had reached a light green before Belen noticed with a gasp and let go.
“You scared me!” Belen cried as she sat back down on the soft plush bed. She watched as Cadi coughed and gasped for breath.
“What are you doing here?!” Cadi shouted after she finally regained enough oxygen to speak.
“Making sure you are alright, Lillian told me you were a bit upset when you saw the dead body.” Belen said as she laid down and stared up at the great beyond, which in this case was Cadi’s peeling ceiling.
“Why does everyone keep saying that!?” Cadi shouted and crossed her arms, a tear trickling down her cheek.” Belen got up from the bed once she noticed the tiny droplet of water and hugged the changeling again but kinder and softer.
“You’re a Virgin aren’t you?” Belen asked then smiled a sweet and surprisingly genuine smile.
“WHAT?! NO! WHY?” Cadi asked shocked yet hurt that Belen would think that. Belen’s lips curled into a huge smile and jumped up and down giggling.
“I meant a Corpse, Virgin, as in the first time you’ve seen a corpse!” Belen mocked and smiled innocently.
“Oh… yeah it is.” Cadi smiled and giggled. Belen could make anyone smile or laugh even if they were in the depths of depression.
“Now when did my little baby be de-flowered, hmm?” Belen teased and pinched Cadi’s cheeks really hard.
“BELEN I’M GOONA KILL YOU!” hollered Cadi, before she giggled chasing out the Tree spirit into the hallway, until Belen stopped mid-step. “Belen what are you doing?” Cadi asked before noticing the tall handsome guy in the hallway, as he kissed Belen on the hand smiling the deepest most beautiful smile Cadi had ever seen. He looked up and smiled then at Cadi and she could see the smile in his Lime green eyes.
