I quickened my pace to keep Hunt from tormenting me any longer. I'm already starving from not eating a well balanced breakfast, and now I have to worry about a doushbag like Hunt? No thank you! I'll avoid torcher while I can, thank you very much.
"Whitney!!" I heard a familiar voice yell as I laugh as the frantic blondie runs toward me with books in hand.
Before she could even catch her breath, she shoves the books in my locker, trying to catch her breath.
"Whitney, thank GOD! I thought I was going to have to roam these halls without you!!" She freaked. I laughed as we linked arms, walking towards our first class.
Eliza has been my best friend ever since she moved next door to me last spring. Her parents had just gotten a divorce and she had to move in with her mother. We met as I helped her unpack. We became best friends instantly.
Just before we were about to walk into Biology, I felt a strong hand grip my wrist, pulling me back from Eliza. She looked at me in bewilderment but I waved my hand at her and she slowly walked into the classroom.
I turned around to see Hunt himself, smirking at me with his famous, cocky smile that sadly, always had me weak at the knees. I hated how he could make me feel so small.
"Where do you think you are going, shortcake?" He sneered as I felt him push me up against the lockers, face only inches from mine and both hands caging me in.
"I..I was going to Biology," I stuttered, like the shy loser that I am. God, I hate how I can't even talk to a normal human being without sounding like a complete moron!!
Hunt laughed in my face, allowing me to smell his alcohol breathe. I winced because honestly, alcohol does not bring happy memories.
"B..Bi...Biology?" He tormented as he crept his hand down until it was holding my jaw in place. I tried to squirm from his grip but it was no use. This shit head had me exactly where he wanted me.
He brought his lips to my ear, causing me to shiver. I rolled my eyes at my crazed hormones.
"You're not going to biology, sweetheart." he whispered in my ear. But as he reached for my hand to take me God knows where, I pull my hand back, narrowing my eyes at the bastard.
"I'm not going anywhere with you. Now if you would excuse me, I have to take a major test that effects half of my grade point average!" I hissed at him, making him raise an eyebrow at me. Taking this opportunity, I ran towards Biology, not looking back. What the hell was that?? Why would Hunt want to take me anywhere???
As I slowly opened the door to Biology, Mrs. Pumpkerman looked at me in astonishment. Why? Oh, only because I've never had a single tardy in my entire life!! God, now I know why Hunt did that to me. He didn't want to take me anywhere!! He just wanted to piss me off by getting me tardy for class! Shit, my parents are going to kill me!!!
"Mrs. Graceman, why on Earth why you not in class on time?" she asked, not shouting at me like she would to anyone else. I was Whitney Graceman. I've been a perfect 4.0, no tardy, no detention, goody two shoes student all my life. She was concerned.
"I...I'm sorry..I just had to grab a paper from my English teacher. She told me to apologize for my being late." I answered quietly. God, does everyone have to stare?! I duck my head as she shook hers my normal seat, in the back behind Eliza.
As class began, Eliza turned around, her face full of curiosity.
"What the hell was that little incident with Hunt??" She whispered frantically, begging me for answer. I shook my head and rolled my eyes.
"I'll tell you later."
