I stepped on the meadow John, my driver, directed me. It is beautiful like what they said. Wild flower scattered beautifully across the meadow were a cacophony on the grape-green grass; blue cornflowers, yellow poppies and white daisies followed by colorful asters with their yellow centers. I walked through the half-calf turf. The meadow were surrounded by big pine trees looming over it like a small cocoon. I was entranced by the beauty of the meadow. My hand was twitching to grab the camera hanging from my neck but it have to wait.

The high sunlit clouds drifted across the clear blue sky. Fresh air filled my lungs as I felt refreshed and exhilarated. The pollen rich smell of the flowers lingers in the air, taking my breath away. I closed my eyes and opened my arms feeling satisfied with my new discovery. This is a paradise indeed.

Suddenly a pain shot through my upper abdomen and I fell backward. I groan in pain as my head made a contact with the soil. What was that? I blinked a few times to regain my sight and a beautiful face appeared. The first thing I noticed was her dancing ebony eyes that makes somehow makes my heart leap a bit. My eyes trailed down her straight nose and to her mouth. That's when I think I must have lost my mind because the syrup sweet lips looked so kissable.

Unfortunately for me, she realized our situation and scrambled up. She looked down to me and tilted her head making her silky, obsidian hair fall on one side. My stomach lurches at the sight. She holds out her hand and I instantly grabbed it. I jostled myself up with her help and brushed off the soil that cling on my brown, wool blended comfort jacket and red stretch skinny tapered color jeans as she did the same to her floral print spring dress.

"Uhm, I'm so sorry that I bumped on you so suddenly. You see, I didn't see you there because uhm, well, I was running and I look back and, and," I put my forefinger on her lips and she stopped immediately. I smiled at her and she replied with a surprised look. She is so cute. I took her arm and ran towards my jeep. We were both panting when we arrived.

"What is that for?"she whined. She did have a right to do so since I took her by surprise. I gave her a sheepish smile and ran to the passenger seat to take my guitar and my blanket. I opened the jeep back door and hoped on it. She gave me a bewildered look when I hold out my hand to her. Please, just please take my hand, I prayed. She shrugged and took my hand. I hoist her up and spread the blanket on the back of the jeep.

"My lady," I bowed and pointed to the blanket. She giggled, shakes her head and roll her eyes but sit down nevertheless. I sat down opposite her and start testing my guitar. She looks excited and so am I.

"Light a roman candle with me.

Just a roman candle,
You can wear your sandals
And I'll pour you just one cup of tea.
Then you can go and rest
You haven't seen my best, so...

Just spend an evening with me.
Just a lazy evening,
Then you could be leaving
Or we could stay and talk until three.
I will think it's magic and I'll hope you'll agree, so...

Light a roman candle with me.
Just a roman candle.
Just a perfect apple.

Light a roman candle with me.
Just a roman candle.
Just a perfect apple.

If we were honest
And both wrote a sonnet
Together a sandwich with everything on it,
At least we would know
That the sparks didn't glow
But we owe it to ourselves to try,
So we aim and ignite!

So often I call and I plead with you:
"Give me a chance!"
It's not often that I understand
The ins and the outs of what's wrong and what's right.
So don't think of tomorrow tonight.

Oh, I know, it goes on, it gets old
But for now we're young, we smell good, we're alone, so alive.

You look for a legend,
I'm looking for common ground.
Your heart isn't breaking,
And mine isn't making a sound.

Oh I know, it goes on, it gets old
Oh I know, it goes on, it gets old, so...

Light a roman candle with me.
Just a roman candle.
Just a perfect apple."

"Okay, this is so weird. No one have ever done anything like this for me," she said with a laugh. I decided I liked that laugh. I wanted to hear it always. We talked for hours and soon it begins to get dark. She stood up and we bid goodbye. I did insisted to sent her home, really I did.

"Is it really okay for you to walk home? It's getting dark and I'm pretty sure that the woods aren't really safe," I hold her hand as I tried to pursued her to ride with me again. She laugh and shakes her head.

"It really is okay. I'm a big girl anyway," she said and just like that her fragile hands slipped through my finger. I admit that I don't want her to let go so soon. She jumped down my jeep and started to walk away but then she stopped. She turned around and tilted her head looking at me.

"You know, I never catch your name," she said.

"My name is Zack no Kanpeki," She giggled while I blushed like crazy.

"Okay then, goodbye, Kanpeki," she waved. I waved back and melted on my jeep as she turns toward her destination. As I watched her silhouettes fades, I realized I didn't ask her name. Oh well, I could always searched for her. Even if it's to end of the world? Yup, even if it's to end of the world.
